Arlia says Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Bunurong People as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live
on today, for it always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and respect their customs and traditions. We
stand together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders: today, tomorrow, and always

“Can everyone please stand quietly and remove any hats or beanies.”
Salute the flag with your right hand. Down.

from beginners to junior masters are invited to join us!

Chess has a rich history spanning thousands of years and

various cultures. Our chess club offers children a chance to
learn this ancient game, enjoy social interaction, and enhance
cognitive skills.

Participating in chess helps develop analytical thinking, planning, Arlia / Marco

decision-making abilities, discipline, and much more, beneficial
for academic and personal growth.

We prioritise sportsmanship and emotional intelligence

alongside competition. The program includes strategy lessons,
exercises, games, and a term-long tournament. We'll host
term-long tournaments, ending with trophy awards, and later,
we'll participate in inter school tournaments.
