Ignition System Based Licensing Using PIC Microcontroller

The document discusses a fingerprint-based system for driving license verification using a PIC microcontroller. The system verifies a person's identity by matching their fingerprint to one stored in the controller. If they match, ignition is enabled. If not, ignition is disabled. This aims to reduce accidents from unlicensed drivers.

 Power- DC 3.6V – 6.0V.

 Working current - Typical: 100mA, Peak: 150mA.
 Baud rate - (9600*N) bps, N=1~12 (default N=6).
 Storage Capacity – 250.
 Matching Mode – 1: 1 and 1: N.
 Interface – UART (TTL logical level) / USB 1. 1.
 Character size – 256 bytes.
 Template size – 512 bytes.

Begin the process by scanning the fingerprint using a

scanner and retrieving data from memory. If the
fingerprints match, the LCD displays "Success Finger,"
and if they don't, the LCD displays "Finger not found."

V. CONCLUSION
The proposed system can be used at all places
starting from domestic to the industrial sectors. This
simple design involves the usage of a large number of
people because people with less knowledge of hardware
can also use it without facing any problem. Fingerprint
recognition is proved to be a dynamic and high
performance system because of its availability of light
weight and inexpensive fingerprint readers, as well as a
