Please find the USB Pen Drive of the machine, containing all the documentation
and software needed, inside the keys bag.
Run the Maticard Pro software setup file placed in the Software\Maticard Pro
USB Pen Drive folder. It's suggested to install the Maticard Pro software in the
C:\MATICA\Programs\Maticard Pro folder.
Run the S7000 Desktop software setup file placed in the Software\Maticard Pro
USB Pen Drive folder.
Copy the possible updated files of the Maticard Pro software, placed in the
Software\Maticard Pro\Maticard Pro Update USB Pen Drive folder, into the
Maticard Pro installation folder.
Copy the possible updated files of the MM Main software, placed in the
Software\Maticard Pro\MM_Main USB Pen Drive folder, into the
C:\MATICA\7000\MM_Main folder.
Copy the machine configuration file (.mpm), placed in the USB Pen Drive root,
into the C:\MATICA\7000\MP_Files folder.
Copy the configuration license file (.lic), placed in the USB Pen Drive root, into
the C:\MATICA\7000\MM_Main folder.
To install the Maticard Pro program, run the Setup_Maticard_Pro.exe file from
the Software/Maticard Pro directory of the Machine USB Pen Drive.
Click Next to accept the license terms. Please note that the operative systems
required by the program are specified in the License Agreement window.
Copy the possible updated files of the Maticard Pro software, placed in the
Software\Maticard Pro\Maticard Pro Update USB Pen Drive folder, into the
Maticard Pro installation folder.
To install the S7000 Desktop program, run the Setup S7000 Desktop exe file
from the Software/Maticard Pro directory of the Machine USB Pen Drive.
This setup has installed the MM_Main and the MM_Remote_Manager programs.
The two programs have been put in the Startup directory in order to get them
both automatically running.
Click Unblock in the Windows Security Alert about the MM Remote Manager
program.
Click Unblock in the Windows Security Alert about the MM Main program.
Power on the MS7010/MS7020 machine, then plug the machine USB cable to
the computer and to the related machine port.
When the USB Serial Converter driver installation is completed, click Finish.
Select the Hardware tab of the System Properties window an click Device
Manager.
Select the Port Settings tab of the Properties window and click Advanced.
Select the COM2 option into the COM Port Number combo box of the Advance
Settings window and click OK.
Be sure that no other device will be already set on the COM2; otherwise a
Communication window will be displayed, asking if the PC has to continue with
the COM setting change.
Check in the Device Manager window that the installed USB Serial port is now
assigned to the COM2.
Accept the terms in the License Agreement and then click the Next button.
Check that the USB Smart Card Reader is present in the “Smart card
readers”.
Click Next in the NFC Reader Writer InstallShield Wizard copyright window.
Accept the terms in the License Agreement and then click the Next button.
Check that the SCL3711 reader & NFC device is present in the “Smart card
readers”.
Starting from Windows 7, Microsoft included some new features in the Smart
Card Service.
If the deployment uses only non-Plug and Play smart card solutions, smart
card Plug and Play can be disabled by a local administrator on a client
computer. Disabling smart card Plug and Play prevents smart card drivers, also
known as smart card mini-drivers, from downloading and prevents smart card
Plug and Play prompts.
Perform the following procedure to disable smart card Plug and Play in local
Group Policy.
Right-click Turn on Smart Card Plug and Play service, and then click Edit.
Click the lower arrow three times up to Network Interface, then click the
right arrow up to Netware On.
Click the lower arrow up to TCP/IP On, then click the right arrow up to DHCP
Off.
Click the right arrow twice up to IP Address and check that there is this code:
192.168.070.200.
Click the lower arrow up to Subnet Mask and check that there is this code:
255.255.255.000.
Now on the user Pc click the Stat button in the lower window.
Click Printers and Faxes in the Settings window.
Choose Add Printer in the Printers and Faxes window and click it.
Enable Create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port in the related
window, then click the Next button.
Click the Next button in the Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard window.
Check that the IP Address is the same as that displayed in the console printer
display and click the Next button.
Enable Standard in the Device Type window and select Generic Network
Card, then click the Next button.
Select the printer HP LaserJet 9050 in the HP section and click Have Disk,
then click the Next button.
Click the Browse button and select on the CD the correct driver, then click the
OK button.
Select the printer Kyocera FS-9530DN KX in the Printers window and click
the Next button.
Check that the printer name is correct and select Yes, then click the Next
button.
To complete the procedure click the Finish button. Then cancel the installation
of add-ons.
Check in a browser if the printer data are correct and if the printer is
connected.
Now in the Printers and Faxes window click with the right mouse button on the
Kyocera FS-9530DN KY and select Printing Preferences.
To align the printer to the Mailer, place the printer aside the input guide with
the two guide joint plates inside the printer panels.
Insert a sheet of paper through the printer and the Mailer and check that the
distance between the paper and the two guides will be the same.
To perform a test print, click the Menu button on the printer console and
check that the Menu Map is displayed. On the Print Menu Map click OK twice to
print a test print paper.
Insert the Folder fixing screws into the aforesaid holes, then tighten the screws
inside the Mailer support with the related nuts.
Insert the two Folder spacers screws and washers into the related holes inside
the Folder input side.
Tighten the two Folder spacers into the related screws on the Folder input side.
Loosen the fixing screw on each side of the Mailer output guide.
Move a little the Mailer output guide to match the alignment guide slot on each
side with the Folder spacers holes.
Tighten the two fixing screws and washers of the alignment guide on each side
of the Mailer output guide.
Check the alignment of the Mailer output guide inserting a paper into the
Folder input. Tighten the fixing screw on each side of the Mailer output guide.
Insert the two fixing screw of the Folder sensor into the related holes on the
Folder output side and tighten the screws inside the Folder with the related
nuts. Assemble the Folder covers.
Align the Folder output slot with the Conveyor input side.
Connect the Folder sensor cable into the related connector on the Conveyor.
Plug the Conveyor power supply cable in the related socket.
Connect the Folder serial cable to the related port on the Folder input side.
Plug the Folder power supply cable to the related socket cable coming from the
Mailer output side.
Otherwise, if the machine configuration file .mpm is more recent respect to the
Master_MachineConfig.xml file version, a warning message will be displayed
advising that the configuration editing will be disable.
In this case the Master_MachineConfig.xml file version must be updated.
Now in the MM Config window click save File to store the machine
configuration file .mpm into the C:\MATICA\7000\MP_Files directory.
Save a second copy of the MPM file (e.g. MS7010) in order to keep the factory
original unchanged.
COM Number sets the the COM port number of the Embedded PC connected
to the Folding Only.
Module Address value indicates the module position in the working cycle,
related to the other modules of the same type.
Timeout Folder Cycle value sets the maximum waiting time before displaying
a folder cycle error.
Folding Type parameter sets the type of folding and its direction (Z Address
UP, Z Address DOWN, C Address UP, C Address DOWN, V Address UP and V
Address DOWN); Z Address UP is the folding type used mostly.
Length A parameter sets the length of the up folding (see the image below).
Length B parameter sets the length of the down folding (see the image
below).
Deskew parameter sets the angulations degrees to get the paper straight into
the folder input (0 is the lowest degrees, 3 is the highest degrees).
Once the parameters are set up, the machine configuration file has to be saved
clicking the Save File button and sent to the machine clicking the Write To
Machine button.
Now digit the Job name and select the Layout properties tab.
Click Open and create a test mpl layout file name in the displayed window.
Then click Edit to display the Maticard Editor window.
Select the MailerLabeler module and set the On option of the Label parameter.
Then click Save.
Set in the Max sheet in machine box the value 2 for the MS7010 and the
value 4 for the MS7020.
Set the Graphic Layout option in the Document Type combo box.
Click the card icon to put a card on the paper carrier layout. Set the value 550
in the Left box and the value 1200 in the Top box, then click Save.
Be sure that the card position will be aligned to the related card detector on
the Paper Transport.
To test the machine functionality, save the empty job selecting the Save
Layout and Exit command from the File menu in the Maticard Editor window.
Click Save in the Job Edit window and the new job will be displayed
into the Maticard Pro window.
Click the Reset button and the machine will restore all the modules.
Load some cards into the Feeder module; then click Production button in the
Maticard Pro window and the Start cards production window will be displayed.
