The purpose of Associate Configuration Analyst is to partner with the Project Manager and Senior Analyst for
outsourced clients to effectively configure the PlanSource core Benefits Administration system. Translate client
business requirements and documentation into system configuration. Under the guidance of the Senior Analyst
and Project Manager, your focus will be on technical execution of the project vision including end-to-end system
configuration, validation, and testing.
About You:
HCM Partnership launches involve, in addition to the core PlanSource benefits administration system, coordination
of additional product lines across the organization, coordinating the work efforts of several internal and external
teams. The project scope also includes deliverables related specifically to the Partner HRIS systems and
integrations. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful on-time completion of projects and for
managing interactions between all internal departments, Partner project teams, third party vendors, and clients.
The Associate Configuration Analyst is responsible for the successful technical configuration of PlanSource systems
and products to ensure successful HRIS Partner Integrations.
Translate required supporting documentation from employer group or broker into the PlanSource
implementation wizard.
Document any missing requirements or needed clarification.
Configure and test client Benefits Administration site to ensure expected functionality and successful
integration of HRIS partner systems.
Recommend configuration and eligibility best practices to project team based on API functionality.
Provide updates and collaborate with Launch Team to ensure all deadlines are met as expected.
Complete internal testing of configuration and create client-specific testing procedures.
Create custom documentation for repeatable project rollout by external broker and association teams.
Identify and escalate potential risks to the timeline to the Project Team.
Document any custom configuration items for client training and ongoing support teams.
Responsible for maintaining knowledge of API requirements as they relate to successful configuration of
PlanSource products.
Collaborate with Senior Analyst on creative solutioning for complex projects or client requests.
Occasionally, attend client calls as needed.
Work with Data Team to coordinate the conversion and loading of client census and enrollment data.
Complete configuration changes as required for EDI on any of the electronic interfaces.
Review employer group data discrepancies, validation, and recalculation report errors with Project Team;
reconfigure as necessary to address errors.
Retain accountability for successful configuration and testing of the client system.
Complete job-related training courses and/or seminars, as may be required for the job and/or assigned by
Manager.
All other duties as deemed necessary by management, including support of clients in other workstreams
as capacity demands.
