Introduction

This assignment requires you to demonstrate the knowledge and skills you have acquired
throughout the course of this module by producing a fully referenced, academic report that
addresses the task given below. To complete the assignment, you will need to choose an
industry and an appropriate organisation within it to research.

Choosing an appropriate organisation

Step 1: Select an industry in which you are interested. For example, commercial airlines,
commercial banking, retail, beauty, IT, publishing, hospitality, leisure, tourism, automotive,
construction etc. can make use of a cloud service for collaborative working. This should
include the storage of private business data and the use of online software that multiple
staff members can work on simultaneously.

Step 2: Select ONE (1) organisation in your chosen industry to research. You should
investigate the sort of cloud services they use or would benefit from using to solve a
current or future problem.

Please note that this assignment must be your own as it is designed to test your abilities.
Submitted assignments will be checked for plagiarism. For more information, please refer
to NCC Education's Academic Misconduct Policy, which can be found on the website.

Task 1 – 90 Marks
Report content:

Prepare a report on the scenario you have chosen. You will need to investigate the
problem and produce a fully referenced document that includes:

Analysis including:

• Overview of the scenario including context, systems, and structure (15 marks)

• Description of the problem (10 marks)

• Identification of the requirements and success criteria (15 marks)

• Identification of the different solutions (15 marks)

• Identification and justification of the chosen solution (15 marks)

• Plan for the implementation of the chosen solution including critical task
identification and timelines
(20 Marks)

Task 2 – 10 Marks
Report structure:

The report should include:

• Table of contents (2 marks)

• Introduction (brief overview of the report) (2 marks)

• Main body (Task 1) (2 marks)

• Conclusion (summary of the report) (2 marks)

• List of references (2 marks)

Guidance

You should write your report in your own words, using appropriate language. You can
assume that the reader has studied this module, so you do not need to provide detailed
explanations of technical terms that have been covered. You do need to use technical
terms appropriately in your report.

Any material that you have used to inform your report should be included in the list of
references and cited within the main body of the report. You must not copy and paste any
material from the Internet or other sources.

You must write your report in your own words and support it with diagrams if appropriate.

Submission requirements

A word-processed document. The word count for this document is a maximum of 2500
words.
