1.Check the Computer Configuration

NOTE: The CPU and graphics card must be qualified (the maximum core frequency of the CPU is
4.5ghz, and the memory of the NVIDIA graphics card is more than 6g.)

2. New Computer Startup Settings
(Ignore this if you are not starting with a new computer.)

Set the computer username to

be in English.

E.g.
Computer username: Pandascanner

partition and add a disk D. ( The

make sure the disk C with storage of more
than 200G, or we need to extend the disk C.

4. Windows Update

Reconfirm whether the system is recommended

for 2004 and above.

5.Prepare These Files

• Winrar: winrar-x64-560scp (to be installed first)

• PANDA P2 FULL package: PANDAP2V1.X.X.full.exe

• Appstudio package: appstudio install en 1.0.4

• Graphics driver package: (distinguish between desktop and notebook): Above 471.00. Please download it from
offical website according to the computer graphics card type. https://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx

• PA package: PA 1.0.2—— 20series or 10series: ex:GTX 1660 Ti / RTX 2060

PA 1.0.3——30 series and above: ex: RTX 3060

• Calibrater processor
6. Software Installation

• Install the softwares: Winrar(to be installed first), PANDA P2 , Graphics driver, PA package,
Calibrater processor, Appstudio package
Follow the prompts to click “Next” until you complete the installation.

• If the installation process restarts, the software needs to be installed again.

Notes:
1, Installation is required for the default path.
2, Winrar is for uncompressing the Appstudio software. If you already installed the uncompressed software on
your computer, then no need to install Winrar again.
 7. Graphics Driver Installation
Ignore this if you already had the graphics driver in your computer. )

Right-click on the desktop→ NVIDIA Control Panel→ System Information → Confirm the driver version
and driver type (or you can repeat the operation of page 4 in this file.)

Choose Studio Driver(SD)

at “Download Type”

Go to the website https://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx and search for

the graphics card driver according to the graphics card type, and download
it on your computer.
 7. Graphics Driver Installation
Ignore this if you already had the graphics driver in your computer. )

After the download is complete,

click all the default options to
install.
8. Computer Butler Settings

Set your computer: High-performance mode

Note:
Uninstall your antivirus software. (e.g. Jinshan Drug Bar, 360, Computer Butler, Norton, McAfee)
After uninstalling, restart your computer and proceed to the next step.
9. Power Settings

Settings → System → Power & sleep → Additional power settings → Create a power plan

If not, choose a power mode with the

③ highest performance.

All changed to ‘Never’

Some computers have four options.

Set all USB to Disable

10. Cannot Create High Performance Mode

1. Select the unbalanced power mode, the other settings are the same
choose a power mode with the highest performance.

2. The desktop has a power switch in the lower right corner to select
the best performance

whitelist or exclusion

12. Restart the Computer

It is very important to restart the PC,

if you feel the scan is not smooth or
delayed, please reinstall the full
package and restart the PC again.

If there are a lot of non-tooth parts

in the scan that causes the scan to
freeze, please reinstall the ‘pa.exe’.
Antivirus + Computer's own Software Notes

• Uninstall the anti-virus software that comes with the computer and
restart it (Kingsoft Internet Security, 360, Computer Manager, McAfee,
Norton）
• Lenovo computer: open Lenovo Computer Manager, Fn+Q to set the best mode;
for a PC with the1660ti graphics card, select the independent display mode; for a PC
with the 2060 graphics card, select the mixed mode.

• DELL computer: confirm that the computer is connected to the power source, click
the start menu, Alienware Command Center software, the performance is set to high
performance; the power is set to high performance; the lower right corner of the
desktop without high performance is pulled to the best performance.
(If you fail to open the Dell Butler and are prompted the upgrade is unsuccessful,
then go to the website as https://www.dell.com/support/home/zh-cn/?app=drivers and
download butler installation.)
Antivirus + Computer's own Software Notes

• Uninstall the anti-virus software that comes with the computer and
restart it (Kingsoft Internet Security, 360, Computer Manager, McAfee,
Norton）
• Shenzhou Computer: The power mode in the control center is selected as the
performance mode, and the fan fast control is selected as the maximum heat dissipation.

• ASUS computer: confirm that the computer is connected to the power source, click
the start menu, then ARMOURY CRATE software, and select enhanced mode.

• MSI computer: confirm that the computer is connected to the power source, click
the start menu, run the Dragon Center software as an administrator, and set it to
high-performance or extreme speed mode.
Software Update Notes

For example: software version is 1.7.2, then need to

update to the latest version 1.8.2

• update method:Download the update package with exe. suffix

• If the window system version is win11,The software version must

be at least version 1.7.2.

Note: After the software version above 1.6.1 is updated, the DATA in the D disk will not be lost. But if
the software version is below 1.6.1, you need to back up the DATA of the D disk to the C disk before
the update and put the data back to the D disk after the update, Or the updated software will delete
the previous data in D disk!
Loading Data Format and Data Save Path Notes

• The loading format must be ift.scan

• Default data save path：The data

is saved in the D:/data folder.
