The above bar chart shows the reading habits of students in Jayadeva Maha Vidyalaya in
the year 2019. The vertical axis shows the percentages while the horizontal axis
represents what they read. There are four reading materials . They are science fictions ,
adventure stories , news papers and magazines.

According to the bar chart, boys are keenly interested in adventures stories. But, only half
the number of girls are interested in it. Boys interested in science fictions are of the same
percentage as girls interested in adventure stories. Newspapers and Magazines attract
lesser numbers. Comparatively, they are 10% and 15% respectively for boys and 20% and
15% respectively for girls. What is clear is that girls are more interested in current affairs
than boys.
The following bar graph shows the leisure activities of some students of the
Southern province. Study the bar graph and fill in the blanks.
