DG DIRECTIVE NO. 01/2021

(ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF PAKISTAN CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY)

1. CAA Board in its 184th Meeting held on 30th September,2020 has

approved the Functional Separation of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority
whereupon the functions of the Authority have been separated with respect to its
role as Regulator and Service Provider. Accordingly, the Authority has now been
transformed into three divisions namely Regulatory, Airport & Operations and
Support Functions. The objective of the Functional Separation of the Authority is
to ensure micro level management with intensed focus on each function in
pursuance of the vision and mission of the Authority while special emphasis is
made on enhancing the regulatory control and making it more robust for safe and
secure CivilAviation affairs in the country.

2. The revised organizational structure of PCAA is attached as Appendices

for EG-07 and above positions. The revised organizational establishment for
positions from EG-06 & below will also be circulated in due course of time.

3. The implementation of the revised organizational stiucture will start

immediately. Placement of officers on the vacant positions as per the approved
structure shall be carried out accordingly.
