Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) is offering an opportunity to law students
to witness and experience the working of this Authority which is working tirelessly
towards achieving "Access to Justice for all" through "Sewa Samadhan Samarpan"
DSLSA invites on-line applications for Summer Internship Program-2024 from law
students of various Law Universities/Colleges of India.

DSLSA allows individuals to bring new perspectives, innovative ideas and
in
research experiences to this Authority and to improve their legal skills while working
a multicultural environment.
The objective of the Internship Program is to provide first-hand experience of day-to

day operations of the Authority by closely working at grass root level of our Society as
well as hands on experience on legal issues faced by people at large. This is a unique
opportunity to see the working of Free Legal Aid System and different stakeholders with
each other to ensure that the awareness of various welfare scheme of Government as
well as that of functioning of DSLSA/NALSA reach to the marginalized sections of the
society.
We invite motivated law students who take initiative and have zeal to work for the
marginalized sections of the society to join hands with us. We welcome students who
are socially active, have a positive attitude and empathy to work for different sections of
the society.

Who can apply:

Law students either of Five years or Three years degree course are eligible to apply for
this program.

Skills required:
Efficiency in written Communication (English), Legal writing, Basic legal knowledge,
Computer Operation in Word/Excel/PPT.
Timeline:

application will not be considered. & a Statenment of Purpose for doing lnternship
written by the Student/Applicant himself/herself in max. 70 words.

Students willbe shortlisted and selected on the basis of their expression of interest
through the Statement of Purpose submitted with the application and draw of lots, if
more than required applications are received. The shortlisted students will be
informed about the same.
30th May, 2024 (Last Date for giving Willingness)
Students shall however send a confirmation e-mail @legallitwing-dslsa@nicin of

their participation in Internship Program positively latest by 30th May, 2024, failing
which their application is liable to be rejected.

1. District Courts (Civil &Criminal side);
2. Family Courts;
3. Special Courts dealing with cases under Section 138 N.LAct;
4. Mediation Centre;
5. Labour Courts & Tribunals including Armed Forces Tribunal, Debt Recovery
Tribunal, MCD Appellate Tribunal, Consumer Forums etc.;

Academic Credit
" Internship Certificate shall be awarded after successful completion of the
Internship. 3 Excellence Certificates would also be awarded to the chosen
candidates who will complete their internship with sincerity and devotion and
bring new innovative ideas.
Attendance
Minimum 75% attendance is must for getting the Internship Certificate.
