c. creating a scenario that applies the futsal in real life situations through role play with
at least 80% of participation.

A. Review

The teacher will give the review through asking questions to the class to elicit students’
learning's about the previous topic Futsal.

B. Motivation
ACTIVITY: Fill me up!
The teacher will show word that has missing letters. The students should guess what the words are within 10
seconds. The students who can guess the correct answer within the given time shall receive a reward (may it be
points at the end of the lesson). This should be answered individually and not in chorus. If question is not
answered within the time period, a clue will be presented to help students but there will be less points.

After the activity, the teacher will proceed to the linking statement to develop connections of the

C. Transition / Linking Statement

A Futsal is played between two teams of five players each on a rectangular court, usually
indoors, with a ball made of leather or other suitable material. In this lesson, you will learn how
to executes the skills involved in the sport through describing the history and equipment of the
futsal using graphic organizer, demonstrating the basic skills by group activity and creating a
scenario that applies the futsal in real life situations through role play with at least 80% of
participation.

II – INTERACTION
.

This section of the course will function as the students' concept notes and tasks for applying
what they have learned about futsal. The teacher will advise the students to complete all the
teacher-prepared exercises by using the Practical MAPEH 8 textbook (pages 235–239) and
the provided concept notes.

A. Learning Activities

A.1 Concept Notes: Open textbook on page 235 – 236 and read about the history and
equipment of Futsal.

The teacher will define Futsal. After that, the teacher will discuss the history and equipment
of Futsal.
After the discussion of the teacher, the teacher will test the understanding of the students by
giving an individual activity.

Activity # 1: Graphic Organizer

The students are asked to answer the graphic organizer about the history and equipment of
futsal and give them five (5) minutes to complete the activity.

Instruction: Briefly describe the history and equipment of futsal using the graphic organizer
below.

A.2 Concept Notes: Open textbooks on pages 237 about Basic Skills of Futsal.

Following completion of the first task, the instructor will play a brief video showcasing futsal
highlights. Following a brief video presentation, the instructor calls on a few students to
demonstrate the Basic Skills of Futsal.
Following the teacher's lecture of the basic skills of futsal, the teacher will allow the class to
practice the skills to assess their comprehension of the subject through group activities.

Activity # 2: Let’s Play and have Fun!

Instruction: Group yourselves into two (2) groups as a team, all you want to do is to execute
the four (4) basic skills of futsal (kicking, shooting, catching, and throwing). You will be given five (5)
minutes to practice at the court. After the practice, the two (2) teams play the race to 10 on the four (4)
basic skills of futsal.
RULES OF THE GAME
 There will be two (2) teams namely group 1 and 2 to have the friendly competition.
 Each team must line up.
 The first two (2) players of group 1 get a futsal ball.
 Each group will be stationed on the opposite sides of the court and must choose a
goalkeeper.
 The players will run from their side to the opponent’s side while kicking and passing
the ball and try to score a goal.
 If the player makes it, one goal.
 The groups will perform alternately for fairness.
 Game continues until a group reaches the 10 score first.
The teacher monitors the scores of each team and signals the start of each round.

Students will be asked to accomplish the task at school and to be perform after the allotment
time given.

Performance Task: Role Play

Instruction: Group yourselves into three (3) groups. Each group must perform the basic
skills (kicking, shooting, catching, and throwing) proficiently in a 3-minute performance.
You will be given fifteen (15) minutes for your preparation.

Students are instructed to think and reflect. Then teacher will call three students to answer
the task. The teacher will also instruct students that the activity refers to the present lesson.
The activity will be done through an oral recitation.
