in most of the aspects during October's first half, especially near October 5-6 and 12-13. Saturn rules Capricorn, so perhaps you dealt with all that happened more gracefully than the rest of us. Your characteristic sense of practicality and realism helps you view challenges and temporary setbacks philosophically. No matter; that no-frills month is over, and now a much better month is in store for you. Finally you will get a chance to kick up your heels and have fun, and I can hear you saying, "It's about time!" Yes, indeed! You have been undergoing a long process of re-vamping your life, an undertaking that was triggered by a series of unusually difficult eclipses in the Capricorn-Cancer family of signs that started back in July 2009. They arrived every six months since then, and the last one in the series recently appeared as an angry new moon solar eclipse July 1, 2011. They are now done. Chances are, your life looks very different from where you were prior to July 2009. There will be no more eclipses in your sign until 2018, so you can rest. New eclipses have been quietly starting up in Gemini-Sagittarius, and one in this series will arrive later this month as a new moon solar eclipse on November 25 in Sagittarius 3 degrees. Its "twin" (eclipses tend to arrive in pairs) will arrive two weeks later on December 10 as a full moon lunar eclipse in Gemini 18 degrees. The new eclipses will be nothing like the ones you endured over the past two years. These will fall in milder places in your chart, and although I cannot see all your planets in your natal chart from where I sit, I feel you will more easily deal with any adjustments that they might require of you. I want to start with the top of the month and go through all the key aspects for you chronologically, but first, let me assure you the solar eclipse on November 25 is the friendliest eclipse of 2011. It comes full of good news. Generally, solar eclipses are more exciting and far less emotional than full moon eclipses. Solar eclipses open doors and bring with them new opportunities and information. Don't be anxious! November will be a really positive month! As November opens, you will still be under the incredibly protective, encouraging vibrations of the new moon that appeared just days before the end of October, October 26. That new moon appeared in your eleventh house of friendship and new contacts, and is still working to open you up to new people and new influences. Just two days after that new moon appeared, one of the best aspects of the year arrived, linking the energies of Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, in earth sign Taurus, to Pluto, the powerful planet of transformation, in earth sign Capricorn, now in your first house. Be open to meeting new people, and mix and mingle as much as you can until mid-month. Also, if you haven't become involved in social media, do - there is opportunity for you there, too. The two big planets, Jupiter and Pluto, move slowly, so they will remain in very early degrees of their earth signs for weeks, helping you now, in November and for months to come. Jupiter happens to be retrograde, but will go direct on Christmas Day, December 25, and from then on, you will see the power of Jupiter's good fortune and generosity in your chart. Jupiter's position always points to where your golden spot lies in the chart - it's now based in your house of true love, pregnancy, and children, so it is clear that your personal life is where your biggest growth will occur now and in coming months. To say you could be transformed by love is not an overstatement - it's all very possible now! Jupiter will be in near constant contact with Pluto in your first house of identity. Jupiter has not been in your house of true love since 1999-2000, so this is a rare visit. You are known to be an ambitious, career-oriented soul, but now it's time to take care of the private side of your life and build a happy life of your own, one with love and possibly including children. You will see some of the power of Jupiter to improve your love life immediately, this month, on the full moon November 10. At that time, the full moon will occur in fellow earth sign Taurus, at 18 degrees. You may have an amazingly romantic episode at the time, and because all full moons are strong for four days plus or minus, you may have something special on your calendar for Saturday, November 12 or Sunday, November 13. If you are single, you could meet someone special on this day. If you are attached, this certainly is a night the two of you should be out and about, celebrating your love for each other. This full moon of December 10 (plus or minus four days) could also bring news of a pregnancy, or if you both are already expecting and coming to term, then this could be the weekend when the actual birth takes place. If you have your children and don't expect or want any more, you may hear some very celebratory news about one or all of them. The fifth house, which will be so lit up at the full moon, November10, is also the house of creativity, so you may be finishing up a very important artistic project by this time, with the deadline being no later than Monday, November 14. If this is what you will be doing, you will be very proud of all you create at this time. If you are pitching a new idea, approval may come November 10, 11, or 14. It's a perfect time to ask for a final answer. There are other highly romantic, fun moments due for you that I want to spotlight for you.

The first arrives right away - November 2 to 4 (all are equally special days for you), due to the lovely pairing of Venus and Uranus, planet of surprise. In this case, these days will be perfect for entertaining at home. Give a party large or small, elegant or casual, on one of these days. My favorite day for a party or gathering at home would be Friday, November 4, for the moon will be in Pisces, a good spot for you. If you don't want to give a party, you can use any of these days to buy new furniture or make other home-related choices. You'll love the ideas you come up with! Then, on November 16, Mars and Jupiter will be in perfect sync. What a great day to travel with someone you love! Something good is about to happen for you, and so if you aren't traveling, you may be hearing from people afar on or near this day. If you have to take a qualifying exam or defend a thesis, do so on this day if possible (or near it) as you will do so well! Later this month, Venus will enter Capricorn on November 26 and will stay in your sign until December 19, a sure indication that your holidays will brim with good times this year. One weekend that should be a fantastic standout for your love life, aside from the full moon and its ensuing weekend, mentioned above, will occur over the weekend of November 26-27. It rates four gold stars! Over November 26-27, Venus, the planet that rules love, fun, beauty, and romance, by then in Capricorn, will reach out to Jupiter, based in your fifth house of true love. This is a red-letter set of days for you, and I bet something will come up! If you were born on or near December 24, plus or minus five days, double everything I just said, because the mathematical degrees of your Sun will be in perfect sync with Venus and Jupiter. Yet all Capricorns will have something to cheer about, so be sure to watch to see what happens at this time! Mercury will go retrograde this month from November 24 to December 13, but considering what a hectic period you've come through, a nice slowdown may be a nice thought. You need a rest, and you will get one. This Mercury retrograde period should not trouble you too much. Just be sure you make all your most important initiations early in November, prior to November 17. Mercury will be in Sagittarius, and the first thought that came to mind is that you may reconnect with many old friends this year, including possibly one old flame. It's always fun to see pals you've not seen in ages, so enjoy that possibility. It is true that you can't buy electronic gifts while Mercury is retrograde, for the chance that the purchase would not deligh t your recipient would be just too high to take the risk. Instead, go shopping for electronics in November's first week or so, or better yet, wait until Mercury is done being retrograde, and start shopping at the last minute, from December 14 onward. You can buy small gifts for under $200 (but not electronic ones) if you like, but as a precaution, save the receipt. O ur family always taped the receipt to the bottom of the box, inside, under the tissue paper. We promised not to look at the receipt - but if we needed to take it back for an exchange, we could. That method still works for me. You can also keep all the receipts that you clearly mark in one big envelope in your drawer. If you choose to buy gift certificates for friends and relatives, make sure you photocopy the card before you give it to each person so you have the card's serial number filed away, just in case the card gets lost. (Tell your friend or relative that you did this, in case they do lose it and are too afraid to tell you!) As long as you keep a different photocopy for each card, with the person's name on each copy, all neatly filed in one folder, you will be all set if something goes wrong. With Mercury, the planet of communication, shipping, and commerce, going out of whack for three weeks, we all know SOMETHING is about to happen, but we just can't know what. Take the time to ascertain that all addresses are correct, too - people move, sometimes without telling us! There is something else happening in the heavens that is sure to be exciting for you, dear Capricorn. (As you see, you have a really terrific outlook!) Mars, the action planet, is about to enter Virgo for a very long stay. Usually when Mars enters a sign, he stays for seven weeks. This time Mars will stay nearly eight months, from November 10 to July 3. This is very good news, for Mars will spend an inordinate amount of time in an earth sign, supporting your Sun. Mars will enter your ninth house of big ideas and higher thinking, and encourage you to broaden your outlook and your knowledge about other countries and cultures. You may be planning to go back to college or about to take an important trip overseas. If you can't leave town in coming months, you may work with people abroad, either, say, in an import-export situation, or in terms of a publishing or broadcasting project where your words may be translated into other languages. If you hope to work in a foreign country, you may be applying for a visa or green card, or may plan to become a citizen of that country. This same ninth house is the house of justice, so you might be applying for a patent or registering your trademark early th is month, a good time to do so. If you have a court case pending, it might not be settled until May or June, as Mars will soon retrograde from January 23 to April 13, a time when you will have to deal with a number of delays. These types of situations have a life of their own, so just go with the flow. While a planet retrogrades, you get more time to prepare, so it all works to your benefit.

The reason I am so excited about seeing Mars enter Virgo is that in this place, Mars will complete the third side of a gorgeous golden triangle in the sky. By being in your ninth house (ruling all the areas of life that I just listed), Mars will send a shimmering beam to Jupiter in your fifth house of love and fun, and to Pluto in your first house of identity and deeply held desires. This configuration is called a "grand trine" in astrology and is considered the most sublime of all possible aspects in astrology. Dear Capricorn, your ship is about to come in. The solar eclipse of November 25 will occur in your twelfth house, considered a house of secrets and confidential matters. If anyone has tried to keep any information from you, this eclipse would bring things out in the open. I suppose if you have been keeping a secret, you would need to be careful to guard it, as eclipses are agents of full disclosure. Eclipses bring a floodlight of truth to the surface! The twelfth house is associated with the subconscious mind, so because this is a very powerful new moon, you might decide to see a therapist to talk over a problem that has troubled you. This would be an ideal time to start this type of process, as you will have four loving planets in your twelfth house to see that you get the insights you need. It's rare when all conditions are s o perfect, but that's precisely what you have now. With Jupiter the ruler of your twelfth house, sending golden beams to Pluto, the planet of transformation, that's a wow of a situation, I would say. There is no challenge too big for you to tackle, dear Capricorn! Your chart looks like the chart of Jack the Giant Killer! Finances seem to be part of the discussion of this solar eclipse. All solar eclipses bring Leo into the discussion, for Leo rules the Sun (and therefore is summoned and brought into the conversation at a solar eclipse). You have Leo on the cusp of your solar eighth house of other people's money, ruling such things as insurance payouts, inheritance, scholarships, financial aid, cour t settlements, division of property in a divorce, child support, and so forth. One of these types of funds could also factor into what is happening at the eclipse. Speaking of money, the first two days of November would not be the best time to make any sort of big decision about money. Mars will oppose Neptune, so your thinking may not be quite straight at the time, and you may have to mull things over before you can come to a conclusion. By November 22-23, when the Sun and Uranus are in perfect sync, you may get outstanding news about money, straight out of the blue! Real estate matters could also bring a stunning breakthrough, so keep alert! As said earlier, the eclipse may bring up discussions - and sudden disclosures - about money too, November 25. Keep in mind that solar eclipses have a long life span and are not operative for just a day. You may hear something in the week that follows, or news may hit one month to a day later, plus or minus one week. You have so much good news coming to you! The best, of course, involves love and the prospect of a richer, more tender, and warm emotional life. This month starts everything rolling, and it only will get better as you get closer to the holidays. You have so much to look forward to, dear Capricorn! Your most romantic dates this month include: November 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 15, 16, 18, 19, 26, and gold star: November 26-27. Summary Lately you may have been concerned about a temporary shortfall of cash. True, your expenses have been rising since midSeptember, but the good news is that your financial picture is not as bad as you feared. Your expenses will begin to calm dow n once Mars leaves your house of credit on November 10, and from then on, you will be able to get a better grip on things. Although your financial picture will begin to steadily improve, be careful over November 2-3, and also over the weekend of November 19-20, when Neptune (confusion) will challenge the Sun, and you won't be able to see a certain situation clearly. A few days later, on November 22-23, you will suddenly get good financial news, and it will come out of left field. Still, due to Mercury retrograde from November 24-Decemer 13, it won't be the proper time to sign papers or make big financial decisions. Put off any major announcements until next month, during the second half of December or in January. Once Mars enters Virgo on November 10 to stay until July 3, Mars will light your expansive ninth house of big dreams and wide horizons, a wonderfully intellectual and stimulating part of your chart that encompasses learning, study, philosophical thought, and travel. You may decide to journey overseas, for pleasure or to do business with foreign people. In the latter case, you may be planning an exchange of services, goods, or information. You may conduct business with those abroad without ever leaving home, of course, and that too is possible now and in months to come. If you work in a creative field, present your ideas to people in the international arena on November 16, your very best day to reach accord or get approvals. If you want to go to graduate school, or if you need to take a qualifying exam like the law bar, you should be able to ace your tests.

On another note, the solar eclipse of November 25 will fall in the most hidden part of your chart, illuminating a secret or a matter you failed to notice before, but that now you will need to do. You may, alternatively, go into therapy to talk over a psychological problem you've not had luck in solving on your own, and if so, it's a good time to do so. When it comes to love, you can expect a bewitching moment at the "Frost Moon" November 10, sure to bring a love to fullness. You may meet someone new on this moon, or help you bring an existing relationship to a new level of tender closeness. If you are attached and have been hoping for a baby, this graceful moon will summon the fairies to help you have your wish come true. More good news about love will occur once Venus enters Capricorn on November 26, and on the following day, November 27, Venus will signal good fortune Jupiter. Together, Venus and Jupiter will bring on a thrilling encounter you may long remember. You've been through many trials and tribulations in matters of the heart over the past two years, but this month will prove to you that finally, the tide has turned to your favor.
