Calculus With Analytic Geometry
Calculus With Analytic Geometry
Course Description : The course equips the student with knowledge and skill about lines and conic sections, limits, and continuity of functions, differentiating and integrating algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions in one variable needed in
higher calculus.
Contact Hours/week : 3 hours.
Pre – requisite : None
VISION : To be recognized leading private educational institutions in Pangasinan committed to provide an accessible equality education that produces “globally” competitive graduates.
MISSION : The Great Plebeian College (GPC) commits:
1. To produce graduates endowed with the 21st century skills and ethical values ready for the challenges of ASEAN Integration and Globalization
2. To be a catalyst of change and progress in the community.
OBJECTIVES :
1. To provide relevant curriculum and quality instruction that adheres to academic freedom and innovative teaching.
2. To develop the holistic personality of the students imbued with ethical virtues.
3. To engage in community services and research activities.
4. To provide equal access to education through scholarship and financial assistance.
Departmental Objectives
The College of Teacher Education department aims to:
1. Develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for Elementary and/or Secondary Education
Course Outcome :
At the end of the semester, students must have:
1. Demonstrate understanding of core analytic geometry concepts by relating these to calculus concepts of limits, continuity, derivatives, and antiderivatives.
2. Demonstrate higher order thinking by applying concepts and skill in carrying out computation and exploration of analytic geometry and calculus problem with or without the use of ICT tools.
