The document demonstrates how to use Excel functions to perform operations on matrices such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, transposition, finding the determinant, and inverses. It shows the formulas to use for each operation and provides examples of applying the formulas to matrices in Excel.

- Dear Mrs. Trâm. We hope you will have a gud day
Introduce when you watch this video. My group including Quỳnh Anh, Đức Bình and Gia Bảo. This video will illustrate how to use excel functions to solve some types of exercises in mathematical economics. So, let’s check it out. Right now! - Move to first one: addition of 2 matrixs - We sum up matrixs with the same number of elements - The number of rows and colums of the first range should be equal to the number of rows and columns of the second range Addition of 2 matrixs - In the first cell of the resulting matrix We enter a formula of the next form = the first element of the first array + the first element of the second (A5+G5) Press enter and stretch the formula to the full range Turning to substraction of 2 matrixs - To solve substraction of 2 matrixs. Do in a similar way as addition of 2 matrixs - In the first cell of the resulting matrix Substraction of 2 We enter a formula of the next form = the first matrixs element of the first array - the first element of the second (A13-G13) Press enter and stretch the formula to the full range - Select the range where the multiplication results will be placed Multiply one matrix - We make the first cell of the resulting field active with another matrix - We use the formula =MMULT (A21:E25;G21:K25) - Enter as an array formula (Ctrl+Shift+Enter) - To multiply a matrix by a number we multiply each Multiply matrix (by a of its elements by this number number) - We use the formula =A29*$G$31 cứ đọc là G31 (a reference to a cell with a number must be abosolute) - Press enter and stretch the formula to the full range Transpose the matrixs - Transposing the matrix is an act of changing the rows and colums in place - The first step is noting the empty range where we transpose the matrix - There are 4 lines in the orginal table and the range of the transposition should have 4 columns - For 5 columns there are should be 5 lines in any empty area, etc. - Then, we use the formula = TRANSPOSE (A37:E41) - Enter as an array formula (Ctrl+Shift+Enter) - This is one single number that is found for a square Finding the matrixs matrix determinant - We put the cursor in any cell of the open sheet. Enter the formula =MDETERM (A45:E49) - The demension of the inverse matrix correspond to the size of the original - Select the first cell of the empty range for the The inverse matrixs inverse matrix - We use the formula= MINVERSE (A53:E57) as a data set function. - The only argument is the range with the original. We got the inverse array in excel. - In matrix notation, this can be written as AX=B, with A= - Use the MINVERSE function to return the inverse matrix of A First, select the range B66:F70 System of linear Next, insert the MINVERSE by function = equations MINVERSE (B67:F71). Finish by pressing (Ctrl+Shift+Enter) Select the range where the multiplication results will be place - We make the first cell of the resulting field active - Then, use the formula= MMULT (B76:F79;L67;L71) - Enter as an array formula (Ctrl+Shift+Enter) The end Our presentation until now will be the end. Thanks for your consider. We looking for your gud result.
