Deepika English Medium School, Sector-5, Rourkela-769002is privileged to organize the
"INTER-SCHOOL CHESS TOURNAMENT:2024" on 18th &19th April 2024.
You are requested to send the names of the participants from your school in the
enclosed
format by mail ([email protected]) or by Hard Copy latest by 15th April 2024.
Venue: Deepika English Medium School, Sector - 5, Rourkela.
Date/Time: 18th April 2024 to 19th April 2024, 9:00 AM onwards.
Eligibility: Category-A(U-12 :Junior), Category-B (U-18: Senior)
Entry Fees: Rs. 250/- (Two Hundred Fifty Rupees only)
N.B. : Entry Fees should be paid by cash at the registration
counter.
General Rules:
1. Tournament will be played as per latest FIDE Swiss rules.
2.9 Rounds will be played. Each round with time control of 30
mins. with 15 sec. increments
from move n0. one.
3. All players are requested to bring their own chess boards and
pieces, clocks.
4. Walkover time is 15 mins.
5. Chief Arbiter decision will be treated as final decision in
case of any dispute.
6. Mobile,wristwatch or any electronic devices are
strictly prohibited in the playing hall.
7. All players must bring their School ID Card.
