PTC Learning Connector is a technology that


connects the user of PTC software to learning
content from PTC University – right from
the desktop.
Learning Connector first hit the market in 2010 and the technology immediately won
an award. Back in those “early days” of Learning Connector, the actual application
was available only as a separate download for Pro/ENGINEER & Windchill, and only
useful for customers who were on active maintenance and had an eLearning Library
license. Still, the feedback from the market was overwhelming and we at PTC Uni-
versity have heavily invested in further refining the technology. Here’s an update on
what you need to know about Learning Connector – especially when you are
using Creo!

1. Learn while you work – Right from your desktop

For the newer product versions of PTC Creo, Mathcad, Windchill and Arbortext,
Learning Connector has been built right into the software. In other words, every user
of the product has this functionality at his/her fingertips and can access just-in-time
learning through context-sensitive recommendations for the current task.
