‭about how to make everyone feel included and respected in school. In my observations‬
‭it helped me see how we can use activities to build empathy and have conversations‬

‭(Explain what you learned from completing this assignment about social and‬
‭emotional development of your future students.)‬

‭-‬‭Completing this assignment taught me a lot about how emotions and social skills affect‬

‭how students learn. It showed me that creating a classroom where everyone feels‬

‭supported and included is really important for helping students grow in all areas. I also‬

‭learned that each student is different, so it's essential to have different ways to help‬

‭them based on what they need. I realized that teaching kids to understand and control‬

‭their feelings, and to be kind to others, is crucial for their success both in school and in‬

‭life. Five areas that should be addressed in SEL is knowing yourself, managing your‬

‭emotions, understanding others, building good relationships, and making smart choices.‬

‭These things are super important for students to learn so they can do well in school and‬

‭be happy and successful later on.‬
