1. Introduction
During the Electrical design and manufacture of the unit, a lot of effort is put into the avoidance of
health and safety risks.
When the crushing unit is in operation, there are many potential risks and to avoid these it is
important that:
2. Warning symbols
Our instruction manuals contain important information, which must be read and understood by all
users before they operate the equipment. To make it easier to notice information in our instruction
manuals directly concerning USER SAFETY and the avoidance of problems with the
EQUIPMENT, we use the following terms and symbols:

This is Electrical Panel located on the Mobile unit and is freestanding type fabricated out of
2mm thick CRCA sheet steel. The panel is double door type suitable for outdoor application.
The panel houses the necessary switch gear for all the motors on the mobile unit and the
external product conveyors. The panel feeds power to the Jaw Crusher Motor (1No.),
Hydrocone Motor (1 No), Loop Conveyor Motor (1 No.), Vibrotary Feeder Motors (2 No.),
Screen Motors (2 No) & Reversible Conveyor Motor (2 no) and other loads on the machine
including load of discharge conveyors and the hydraulic unit. The panel is fully wired as per
the control scheme given in the drawing 3-SC2000-03-02. The cables, which are connected
to the loads on the machine are directly connected on the terminals provided in the panel.
The cables, which are required to be detached during transportation, i.e. cables for hydraulic
lubrication system, cables for the operation panel are terminated on the sockets provided on
the side of the panel. These loads / operational panel is connected to the electric panel
through matching plugs supplied along with 15mts. long cable. These cables are
disconnected at the time of transporting the mobile unit and can be easily connected again at
new location in very short time. This panel is mounted on Anti-vibration pads.
For Jaw crusher and Hydrocone crusher, one no. common auto transformer is provided as
shown in the drawing. All these feeders can be switched on and switched off from
respective push buttons provided on the operational panel located within 15mtrs of mobile
plant.

d) To start the machine follow the instruction as written in the Operating and Starting
Instruction.
This is provided on the either side of chassis . This is for the safety of the equipment /
personnel. After pressing this Push Button, complete system will be stopped . This push
button station is only with Stop Button with mushroom headed and stay put type.
The incoming power cable shall be terminated at Control Panel box by the purchaser.
The identification mark for power & control cable for different items at the junction /
Control cable are also provided for easy Cable connection. The Single Line Diagram for
and Schematic diagram for Control Panel is provided for purchaser reference .
5. Commissioning Instruction
At the time of commissioning of this crushing unit or before starting the unit following
points shall be checked by the Operator/ Purchaser:
• Checking the megger value of the Crusher motors ( it should not be below
1 Mega OHM on 1000V )
Warning !!!
Keep clear of the crushing unit and the area around the Junction box
during starting.

Operating Instructions
I. In Control Panel :
i) All MPCB’s except CB4A & F11 should remain in “ON” position. CB4A and
F11 are optional for ASR.
ii) MCB’s CB21, CB22, CB23 should remain in “OFF” position. These are optional
for ASR.
2. In Operational Panel :
i) Selector switch for frequency convertor/bypass selection, should remain in ‘1’
position, while starting the feeder in frequency inverter bypass mode. While
starting in frequency inverter mode. It should remain in ‘3’ position.
ii) Auto/manual/radio Selector switch should remain in ‘3’ (AUTO) position.
iii) Sequence on/off Selector switch should remain in ‘ON’ position. When it is on,
all the equipment can be started in sequence mode. In case, you want to test the
individual equipment, this switch can be kept in ‘OFF’ position. In ‘OFF’
position, all the equipment except the feeder can be started individually without
any sequence. For safety reasons, it is not permitted to operate the feeder without
sequence.

1. Remove the dust from operational panel and control panel by using air blower.
2. Check the tightness of all power connections on panel side as well as motor side.
4. The joining cable of control panel and operational panel should be protected from
mechanical damage.
5. O/L settings in relays are done as the nominal current of the motors. It should not be
disturbed.
6. To avoid the dust and moisture, both the panels must be in lock tight position.
7. While removing the plugs from sockets they should be covered, so that dust and
moisture do not go inside the plugs.
8. After removing the plugs, the sockets must be locked with cover.
9. While replacing the motor, the direction of motor should be checked as per
requirement. Otherwise, it can damage the gearbox.
10. Avoid the welding work nearby the plant, especially the earth electrode of welding
machine should not touch the cables and earthing strips given to the plant.
