School Health and Safety Protocol Guidelines
School Health and Safety Protocol Guidelines
In accordance with DepEd Order No. 014 s.2020 entitled “Guidelines on the required
Health Standards in Basic Education Offices and Schools”, the school hereby adopts the
following Health and Safety Guidelines:
1. All returning personnel physically reporting to work shall undergo screening for
symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, cough, colds, and other respiratory
symptoms, and/or relevant history of travel or exposure within the last 14 days.
1.1 All Teaching and Non-teaching personnel who are symptomatic and with
relevant history of travel/exposure within 14 days prior to the date of work
resumption shall not be allowed to physically report to work and must
consult with their primary care provider and obtain a Certificate of
Quarantine Completion from their Local Health Unit (BHERT or CHO).
1.2 All Teaching and Non-teaching personnel who are symptomatic and with
no relevant history of travel/exposure within 14 days prior to the date of
work resumption shall seek medical advice for proper treatment/
intervention and obtain medical certificate before reporting back to work.
1.3 All Teaching and Non-teaching personnel who are asymptomatic and
with relevant history of travel/exposure within 14 days prior to the date
of work resumption can be cleared to physically return to work only upon
presentation of a medical certificate issued by the Local Health Unit or
private health care provider.
1.4 All Teaching and Non-teaching personnel who are asymptomatic and
with no relevant history of travel/exposure within 14 days prior to the
date of work resumption can be allowed to return to work physically.
2.7 The school shall ensure the availability of hand soaps and a functional
handwashing facility near the entrance.
2.8 All private vehicles are not allowed to enter the school vicinity.
