N (Public Switched Telephone Network): A circuit-switched network that connects

subscribers to the local central office.
 Switch Function: Manages connections between Wireless Access Network Units
(WANUs).
 WANU (Wireless Access Network Unit): Located at the local exchange office, it
handles authentication, operation, routing, and data transmission. It consists of sub-
components like a transceiver, WLL controller, Access Manager (AM), and Home
Location Register (HLR).
 WASU (Wireless Access Subscriber Unit): Installed at the subscriber's location, it
connects the subscriber to the WANU.

WLL offers several advantages, including:

 Cost-effectiveness: Eliminates the need for copper wires, reducing installation costs.
 Enhanced Security: Utilizes digital encryption for secure communication.

Technologies Used in WLL

There are several technologies that are commonly used in WLL systems, including:

1. Deep Learning Frameworks: Deep learning frameworks are software

libraries that provide a set of tools for building and training deep neural
networks. Some popular deep learning frameworks include TensorFlow,
PyTorch, and Keras. These frameworks provide a wide range of pre-built
components that can be used to build a WLL model, including layers,
activation functions, and optimization algorithms.
2. Data Preprocessing Tools: Data preprocessing tools are used to clean,
transform, and prepare the raw input data for use in a WLL model. Some
popular data preprocessing tools include Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
These tools provide a wide range of functions for filtering, scaling, and
normalizing data, as well as for handling missing values and outliers.
3. Cloud Computing Platforms: Cloud computing platforms are used to
provide the computational resources required to train a WLL model. Some
popular cloud computing platforms include Amazon Web Services (AWS),
Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). These platforms
provide a wide range of resources, including virtual machines, storage
systems, and networking capabilities, that can be used to train large-scale
WLL models.
4. Distributed Computing Systems: Distributed computing systems are used
to parallelize the training process of a WLL model across multiple machines
or nodes. Some popular distributed computing systems include Apache
Spark, Hadoop, and Flink. These systems provide a wide range of tools for
partitioning data, coordinating tasks, and managing communication between
nodes.
5. Hardware Accelerators: Hardware accelerators are specialized devices
that are designed to speed up the computations required to train a WLL
model. Some popular hardware accelerators include graphics processing
units (GPUs) and tensor processing units (TPUs). These devices provide a
large number of parallel processing cores that can be used to perform
matrix multiplications and other computations required by a WLL model in
parallel.
