Overview
This document provides operating instructions for the ALPHA2™
Pro Series™ V32 (AP-1V32, V32 indicates a 32 inch flat panel
display in the main cabinet).
Your machine displays only the features supported by your
software version, jurisdiction, and machine configuration. All
features do not display on every machine. If any feature does not
apply to your machine, then go to the next section.
CAUTION This document may describe procedures for
equipment that does not apply to all cabinet
configurations, or that may require additional
components. Each regulatory jurisdiction may
have controls, policies, and procedures that you
must follow. You are responsible for
understanding and abiding by the rules that apply
in your environment.
Prerequisites
This installation may require the following additional parts, tools,
and manuals:
• Locks (quantity 5 to 9, depending on your machine
configuration)
• Category 5 network cables (quantity and length depending
on your machine configuration and your floor plan layout)
• Tools for locks
• 22 mm (7/8 inch), 11 mm (7/16 inch), and 10 mm (0.39 inch)
socket or wrench
• Alpha Game Platform™ Software Setup Field Guide for your
machine operating system software version
• Parts manual for your machine

Middle Door
STEP 1. To open the middle door, unlock the middle door lock
under the left front of the bolster.
STEP 2. Hold the middle door firmly.
CAUTION
This door rises automatically on gas springs. To
prevent injury or damage, hold the door firmly.
STEP 3. Press the middle door latch release firmly (the casing
covering the locks).
STEP 4. Continue holding the middle door, while the gas
springs automatically raise the door slowly.
STEP 5. To close the middle door, press gently on the middle
door until the door connects to the cabinet frame
securely.

Belly Door
STEP 1. To open the belly door, unlock the belly door lock
under the right front of the bolster.
STEP 2. Hold the belly door firmly.
CAUTION
This door opens downward. To prevent injury or
damage, hold the door firmly.

STEP 1. To open the deck access door, while the middle door
and belly door are open pull the release handle
(yellow) at the left side of the cabinet interior.

STEP 7. Connect and route the power and network cables and
ensure they are not pinched, abraded, or otherwise
damaged.
• Route the power cable through a cut-out in the
base, at the left, right, or back of the machine as
appropriate for your floor plan layout.
• Open the cabinet door and verify that the power
and network cables are not pinched under the
machine or any neighboring machines.
STEP 8. Press the power switches to supply power to the
machine.
• Alpha 2 Machine Power Switches
• Cabinet Power Switch - only supplies power to
DC cabinet components, not including the MPU

entire cabinet and MPU Assembly

STEP 2. Unlock and open the bill acceptor cash box door.
STEP 3. Remove the bill acceptor cash box from the machine.
STEP 4. Insert an empty bill acceptor cash box.
STEP 5. Close the bill acceptor cash box door and lock it.
