Quick Guide to Alpha 2 Multi Link configuration

Part number 3
Alpha 2 Multi Link (cont.)

The Alpha 2 Bank Controller setup consists of a dedicated

EGM configured as the Bank Controller Server to support
15 gaming machines configured as BC clients (total of 16).

It provides Jackpot options such as Mystery or combined

(progressive Jackpots).

The BC feature is enabled by connecting a pre-programmed

USB Licensing Key known as the Dongle into the EGM
(Electronic Gaming Machine) to be used as a BC server.

The controller software resides within the Alpha 2
Operating System and functions in the background
during normal game play.

Each BC client connects to the BC Server using a Broad

Band Gateway (BNG) protocol.

The BC supports up to 5 progressive links up to 8 levels

each, and one Mystery progressive link with up to 8
levels of mystery play.

Pertinent Multi Link data can be uploaded in seconds

from Multi Link report feature.

Game Options
Notes: It is required to configure the game options prior to setting the Progressive
(Multi Link setup).
Setting up game options must be completed.
Serial number is necessary.
For multiple games, games must have the same class of jackpot in the same
link.
Multiple links with the same theme will only allow it if it’s different
denominations.
For standardization, when adding IP Address for each game, use
192.168.15.001 to .016 (for a max of 16 games) with the Bank Controller being
001.
The Bank Controller option will not be displayed without the dongle.
For CoolSign IP Address, use 192.168.15.120 (if a Sign is included in the
installation).
