Service Password Reset (SSPR)

Version 1.0

Resetting of Password in AP Seva portal
Introduction
While accessing VSWSOnline Website, Users can reset their password by themselves in case
they forgot their password or want to update their password.

All the department users having the access to AP Seva Portal are requested to update their
personnel email id to reset their password.

The following are the steps to register for self-service password


reset option.

Step1

Open the following URL (https://vswsonline.ap.gov.in/#/home) in any one of the browsers


like Chrome/Edge/Firefox. Then select the Employee Login from the Login tab as highlighted
in Red in the following Image.
Step2

Enter your Username on the Sign in Page and click on the Next button.

Step3

Enter your password and click on the Sign in button.


Step4

“More Information required” message is displayed on the screen. Click on the Next button.

Note: The above screen will be displayed only for the users who haven’t registered for the self-
service password reset option.

Step5

Enter your personal email id and click on Next as shown below.


Step6

Enter the OTP received to your email and click on Next.

Step7

Once the one-time passcode (OTP)is verified, Success message is displayed. Click on the Done
button to complete the Email setup.
The following are the steps to reset the password.

Step1

Enter your Username on the Sign in Page and click on the Next button.

Step2

Click on Forgot Password as shown below.


Step3

Now enter the Characters displayed and click on Next.

Note: No need to change Email or Username over there.

Step4

To get the verification OTP to your Email click on “Email”.


Step5

Enter OTP and click on “Next” Button.

Step6

Once the one-time passcode (OTP)is verified, the screen below will be displayed to set the new
password.
A Successful message will be displayed once the new password is updated as below.
