Section 6. Accidental release measures
Ensure adequate ventilation. Use personal protective equipment. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and
clothing. Remove all sources of ignition.
Environmental precautions:
Outside of normal use, avoid release to the environment. Prevent product from entering
Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly.
Prevent any spillage reaching natural waterways and open drain systems
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. For personal protection see section 8.
Keep container closed when not in use in a dry and well-ventilated place. Store at room temperature
in the original container. Store away from incompatible materials.
No exposure standard assigned for this specific material by Safe Work Australia. However, Workplace
Exposure Standard(s) for constituents(s) has been shown in table.
Note: As published by Safe Work Australia Workplace Exposure Standards for Airborne
Contaminants.
TWA - The time-weighted average airborne concentration of a substance when calculated over an
eight-hour working day, for a five-day working week.
These Workplace Exposure Standards are guides to be used in the control of occupational health
hazards. All atmospheric contamination should be kept to as low a level as is workable. These
workplace exposure standards should not be used as clear defining points between safe and
dangerous concentrations of chemicals. They are not a measure of relative toxicity.
local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to keep airborne levels below recommended
exposure limits. If user operations generate dust, fume or mist, use ventilation to keep exposure to
airborne contaminants below the exposure limit.

Skin protection: Wear suitable protective work clothing.
Respiratory protection: Effective dust mask. Use a dust respirator under conditions where exposure
to the substance is apparent (e.g. generation of high concentration of dust (dust clouds) , inadequate
ventilation, development of respiratory tract irritation), and engineering controls are not feasible.
Be sure to use an approved/certified respirator or equivalent.
Thermal hazards: No special requirements.
