exam.

Third conditional in English.

The third conditional or conditional type 3 is a

If clause main clause.

If I hadn’t eaten so much, I wouldn’t have felt

sick.

If I had seen her, I would have told her to call you.

Examples.

If we had trained more, we wouldn’t have lost

the game.

If we had played better, we would have won.

Examples.

If you have asked him, he would have helped you.

the bus.

been on time.

If she hadn’t saved some money, she wouldn’t

have bought a new car.
Conclusion.
In this presentation you have learned so far how
to use the third conditional in English. Now you
can write your own sentences to express your
opinions and ideas about unreal past situations.

If we hadn’t explained you this grammar point,

you wouldn’t have learned it today.
