SECTION - I

1 (a) State and explain Coulombs law of force between two charge points? 4

(b) The concentrated charges of 0.25 µC are located at the vertices of an 6


equilateral triangle of 10m of side. Find the magnitude and Direction of Force
on one charge due to other two charges?

2 (a) Define electric field and electro statics? 4

(b) Three equal charges of 1 µC are placed at the corners of a square length 6
10cm. Find the direction and magnitude of E at the vacant corner

SECTION - I

1 (a) State the expression for the force between one charge point to an array of 4

on the z-axis and iii) a uniform surface charge density ρs of 57.2 µC/m2 on
the plane x=12m.

2 (a) Find the electric Field at a point (1,-2,1) m ,If the potential is V= 3x2y+ 6
2yz2+2xyz.

(b) Derive the expression for EFI at a point ‘p’ by a single charge point ‘Q’? 4

3 (a) Derive the Expression for point form of Gauss’s law? 4

9 A uniform Solenoid of 100mm dia and 400mm long has 100 turns of wire and 10
current flowing through it is 3A, then Find and Magnetic Flux density B if
the relative permittivity is 1.26 X 10-6 H/m
