Abstract

Employability competency can be enhanced by getting exposed to the actual real time
working environment in the industry. The industrial skills like soft skills, life skills and
hands-on should get inculcated among a candidate to make him capable of getting
employed. In plant training is the only way, students learn application of acquired
knowledge to fulfill market demand and develop skills and competencies required to
become employable. Industrial training in the field of engineering is an integral part of the
curriculum as it is considered to be the first job experience for a ‘would-be professional.’
As a trainee of the company, there is a lot of learning involved where students get a
hands-on approach in work life. During the industrial training, students can put their
theoretical knowledge to practice and realize their actual potential.
Taking above points into consideration we decided to undertake an in-plant training for
the period of 6 weeks.

This document presents summary of in plant training undertaken by TRIVENI SHELKE,

PRATIKSHA SHINDE, STUTI ORPE, ADITYA GHODKE AND VEDANT PAWAR in
“ANSHUMAN TECH PVT LTD.”
that works in the field of electronics equipment generation such as PID Trainer, PLC
Trainer, DC Position Control Trainer, AC Position Control Trainer and Control Trainer etc.

The duration of in plant training was from 7th June 2023 to 22nd July 2023. We were
assigned to different departments which includes the testing department, Production
department & QC department. In conclusion, this was an opportunity to develop and
enhance skills and competencies in my career field which we actually achieved.

One of the most important lessons learnt during my industrial training is that engineers
need to know more than their own field of expertise in order to be more competent and
able to have better cooperation with engineers of other fields in the industry. Moreover,
safety in always be stressed for workers regardless of rank and position at the plant.
Engineers must always check and analyses any data given, in order to detect any
inconsistency or discrepancy, and to determine whether the data obtained is logical and
acceptable. All in all, this industrial training has given me the valuable insight of being a
professional engineer.
Acknowledgement

 ELECTRICAL AND ELECTONIC SYSTEM TRAINER

 TESTS PERFORMED:
1. VISUAL INSPECTION:
 Check the PCB as per the given ammonia i.e check the values of all the components
mounted on the PCB.
 Check the polarities of all diodes, electrolytics capacitor, Zener dioedes , transistor &
IC sockets notch etc.
2. TESTS FOR BUFFER-
 Give an external power supply of 5v through 4 pin . as you give the power supply all
the LEDs will glow.
 Connect pin 1-19 and check the status for all LEDs.

3. FUNCTIONAL TESTS:
 All the connections given below are to be done using 4mm patch cord of suitable
length.
 Give an external power supply of 5v to the input terminal 1 7 2.
 As soon as the power is switched on the LEDs corresponding to the following gates
must glow.
 Connect point 4 or 6 to the point numbers 15,16,23,24 & 25 one by one so that the
related LEDs must glow after the connections.
 Connect point 4 to 17 & 6 to 18 Nor gate LED must glow after connection.
 Check the truth table for all remaining gates.
9
 MICROPROCESSOR MICROCONTROLLER TRAINER

 TESTS PERFORMED:

1. BATTERY BACKUP TEST:

 MOVE- Press M MOVE CR BLOCK CR Start 0000 END 1FF DST. 6000..CR ,(wait)
DONE.
 COMPARE-Press C Compare CR BLOCK CR START 6000 END 7FFF DST.
0000.CR(wait) DONE.
Switch the power supply on/off for 10 times make power supply off for 1 minute &
again compare data as given above. If done is displayed , then battery backup is OK.

2. TEST FOR 8255 PORTS:

 For upper port-
Press s substitute CR and kay other than ESC/CR IO CR OUT CR PORT NO. 03 CR
DATA 80 (for LED off). Then process is same only changes are in port address &
data as follows:
For port A, port B, port C port address is 00,01,02 respectively and data is 55 & AA
alternately.
 For lower port-
Same process like upper port only changes in port address. For LED off port address
is 0B & data is 80. For port A, port B, port C port address is 08,09,0a respectively and
data is 55 & AA alternately.
 For single stepping-
Press G GOTO CR press any key SSTP CR SRC-SEG F000…..CR address
FFF0…..CR.
Then it displays next location & its content

SAFETY PROCEDURE FOLLOWED

 Take care of power tools

 Disconnect the power source before servicing or repairing electrical equipment
 Look out for electrical lines.
 Childproof your outlets.
 Never use equipment with frayed cords, damaged insulation, or broken plugs.
 Always use insulated tools while working.
 Stay on top of housekeeping Prevent electrical equipment from contacting wet areas
 Ensure safe use when unplugging
 Avoid water at all times when working with electricity. Never touch or try repairing any
electrical equipment or circuits with wet hands. It increases the conductivity of electric
current.
 Install properly and tidy electrical cords.
 Understand your switchboard
 If you are working on any receptacle at your home then always turn off the mains. It
is also a good idea to put up a sign on the service panel so that nobody turns the
main switch ON by accident.
 Always use appropriate insulated rubber gloves and goggles while working on any
branch circuit or any other electrical circuit.
 Ground electrical equipment.
 Wear protective clothing
 Never try repairing energized equipment. Always check that it is de-energized first by
using a tester. When an electric tester touches a live or hot wire, the bulb inside the
tester lights up showing that an electrical current is flowing through the respective
wire. Check all the wires, the outer metallic covering of the service panel, and any
other hanging wires with an electrical tester before proceeding with your work.
 Never use an aluminum or steel ladder if you are working on any receptacle at
height in your home. An electrical surge will ground you and the whole electric
current will pass through your body. Use a bamboo, wooden or a fiberglass ladder
instead.
 Take care with power tools.
 Install warning signs

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE AT INDUSTRY

As a trainee, we were taught several critical points about how the industries work. An
essential part of that is the behavioral guidelines, and aspects of professionalism in an
organization. During this industrial training, we were exposed to the real working
environment. This program helped to gain valuable knowledge and experience, build up
their self-confidence, communication skill, creativity, better judgment, and get used to the
working pressure.

As a trainee we developed following skills through this training:

 Professionalism

 Practical Knowledge

 Softskills

 Inter Department Communication Skills

 Insight Into Internal Functioning an organization

 Fault finding & Problem-Solving Skills

CONCLUSION

6 weeks in ANSHUMAN TECH PVT LTD. Had teacher a lot about working experience
and its challenges. It has been a god training platform for the interns to practice both
technical and non-technical knowledge and skills in real life application.
Furthermore, this experience opened the eyes of the students on how the company
works and the opportunity to explore new field and knowledge. In conclusion, the we are
very pleased with the opportunity given by Anshuman tech & government polytechnic
Pune to undergo this industrial training.
We hope that this programmed structure will be maintained thus to produce a well-
rounded engineer.
