LIFELONG BENEFITS OF EDUCATION
“Education is a the key that unlock the golden door to freedom”
-George Washington Carver- Which reminds us that education is a vital thing that can help us to reach our potential and live a better life. Freedom that can be attained with education isn’t limited only intellectual freedom but also entails physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and financial freedom. Those who have gone through a lifetime of education have been allowed to make their own choices and develop their skills to live a fulfilling and prosperous life. Education help us to develop our interests, ideas, perspectives and creativity. When a man well educated, he discover various skills inside him and can learn to use them effectively. He is better equipped to develop and earn himself a livelihood. Being financially secured isn’t an overnight achievement but a fruit of years of learning. The acquisition of knowledge also helps a man gain a better understanding around him and he is able to create a meaningful relationships with other and improve his overall quality of life. It cultivates the humanity of a person and enables him to have compassion and empathy towards others. Through education, he is able to make positive contributions to society and use his knowledge to help others. On the other hand, without education, the person becomes socially and intellectually inept. Their choices lack self-awareness and they become submissive and they blind to the reality around them. They are often out of touch with their own needs and needs of others. This can lead to poverty, lack of job opportunities, poor living standards and eventually death. This is evident in many cases where young adults are unemployed, and they cannot support themselves or their families. As a society, we should not ignore the importance of education because it is an important contributor to social and economic development. Without it, people would continue to face challenges such as unemployed, poor living conditions and insecurity. It would be very difficult to develop a society that is rich in culture, tradition and innovations. Unless it is well educated society is one that is committed to building a better future for the people, based on mutual respect and understanding. Thus, let us instill in our minds that no matter how education may be, we should not give up on it. Let us hold on to our education, for it is our right and privilege to learn. Let us be eager to learn every day even in the little things. Let us educate our minds and also our hearts so that we can create both a progressive and meaningful world.
