Procedure for Authenticating Wired Users

Step 1 : To access Services, simply click on the Windows button or search bar located on the taskbar, then
input "Services" into the provided search box.

OR

Step 2. Go to Wired Auto Config. as shown and open the “Wired AutoConfig properties” dialog box by double-
clicking on it.
Step 3: Choose "Automatic" from the Startup type dropdown menu and click Start Button from Service Status,
then proceed to click on the "Apply" and "OK" buttons.

Step 4: Go to Control Panel > Network Sharing Center> Change Adapter Settings as shown
Step 5: Double click Ethernet icon

Step 6. Select the Authentication Tab in the Ethernet Properties dialog box and check on Enable IEEE 802.1X
authentication and click the Settings button
Step 6: Uncheck the Verify the server's identity by validating the certificate and click OK .

Step 7: Click on the Addition Settings to open Advanced Settings dialog box make sure to check the Specify
authentication mode and choose User Authentication from dropdown menu and click on Save Credentials
button.
Step 8: Enter your internet credentials (username and password) in the dialog box provided and click ok.

Step 9: Click OK on Advanced Settings dialog box.


Step 10: Then Click OK on Ethernet Properties dialog box.

Step 11: Enter the login credentials in Authentication Required dialog box opened the default browser and click
continue button to proceed.
Please refrain from closing this dialog box. If you are not currently using the internet, please log out by clicking
on the logout link provided in the dialog box, in order to avoid over concurrent limit issue.
