Unusual Experiences - A Conversation

Person A: Have you ever eaten something unusual?

Person B: Yes, I have. A few years ago, I tried deep-fried chickens during a food
festival of chifa. They were surprisingly crunchy and had a weird flavor. Then I released
that it wasn’t a chicken.

Person C:No, I haven't, but I've heard about people eating insects like “Suri”. I don't
think I'd be brave enough to try that.

Person A: That's understandable, it's not for everyone. Have you ever tried any unique
international dishes?

Person B: Absolutely. I tried sushi for the first time when I visited the “Barrio chino” in
Lima . It was a bit intimidating at first, but I loved it.

Person C: Yes, I have. I tried Mole during a trip to Mexico. It's spicy but delicious.

Person A: Have you ever bought something unusual online?

Person B: Yes, I have. I once ordered a small, handheld drone just for fun. It was great
for taking aerial photos.

Person C: No, I haven't. Online shopping for me is usually more about practical things
like clothes and gadgets.

Person A: Have you ever made a spontaneous online purchase you later regretted?

Person B: Oh, yes. I once bought a vintage record player on a whim, but it turned out to
be quite temperamental, and I rarely use it.
Person C: No, I haven't experienced that yet, but I'm always cautious with online
shopping.

Person A: Have you ever run a marathon?

Person B: No, I haven't. Running a marathon is a significant challenge. I've done a few
5K races, though.

Person C: Yes, I have. Last year, I completed my first marathon. It was a tough but
rewarding experience.

Person A: Running a marathon is a remarkable achievement. Have you ever

participated in any other sporting events?

Person B: Well, I haven't run a marathon, but I did participate in a charity bike ride
once. It was a long-distance ride to raise money for a good cause.

Person C: That sounds great! I've never been part of any sports event, to be honest.

Person A: Have you ever had a bad experience on a trip?

Person B: Yes, I have. Once, I missed my pills for altitude sickness in a flight during a
layover in Arequipa . It was one of the worst feelings in my life.

Person C: No, I haven't. My trips have been mostly smooth and enjoyable so far.
