TECHNICAL DATASHEET

AquaSorb® HS Features and Benefits

• Extensive internal structure

Acid washed coconut based activated carbon
• Optimized density
• Neutral surface
AquaSorb® HS is an acid washed high purity high activity granular
• Maximum hardness
activated carbon manufactured by steam activation from carefully select • Extended operational life
coconut shells. This activated carbon is produced for use in ultra-pure • High volume activity
water treatment systems requiring low conductivity and exceptionally high • Rapid pH-stabilization, quick
purity. This activated carbon is also specifically designed for the removal of start-up
heavy hydrocarbons from recovered condensate. The acid washing process • Minimized operational losses

removes soluble silica from the matrix of the activated carbon to prevent
leaching into the condensate. Typical Applications

• Condensate de-oiling
• Semiconductor process water
• Dialysis treatment
• POE treatment units
• Protection of RO membranes

Available Particle Sizes

• 12x40 mesh (0.425 - 1.70 mm)

• 8x30 mesh (0.60 - 2.36 mm)
• Other mesh sizes available
