MBA1 - Mastery of Content: Graduates will demonstrate an ability to integrate and use
knowledge from multiple business disciplines, and will demonstrate proficiency in their
major area business discipline.
MBA2 – Ethics: Graduates will have an ethical perspective.
MBA3: Global Perspective - Graduates will have a global perspective.

Activities that support course objective:


Video lectures: Comprehensive lectures on the topic will be posted at least a week in
advance of the quiz due date. Students are expected to view the video lectures and
complete the assigned quizzes.
Discussion board: The discussion board is a way for students to collaborate and
enhance their learning. The discussion board will be monitored by the instructor on a
regular basis and queries will be answered regularly. The instructor will provide
additional material including videos to explain topics that students have a difficulty
understanding. Also, the instructor will introduce topics related to ethics in accounting
and global perspectives of accounting through the discussion board. Students will be
asked to discuss these topics and provide comments on the issues involved.
Data analytics projects: These projects will be completed in the face-to-face sessions.
Students will apply the knowledge they have learnt into class to solve real life case
scenarios using various data analytics tools. Videos and other material on how to use
these data analytics tools will be provided.

Course objective/outcome supported by each activity


Video lectures, quizzes, data analytics projects, and exams will help students gain
mastery of knowledge (MBA 1).
The discussion board will help students gain an ethical (MBA2) and global (MBA3)
perspective in accounting.
