I. OBJECTIVES
A. Uses appropriate musical terms to indicate variations in tempo( LARGO AND PRESTO)
B. Comprehend the concepts of the speed/flow of the music.
C. Generate body movements pertaining to the speed/flow of the music

III. Methodology / Procedures
A. Preparatory 1. REVIEW OF THE PAST LESSON
Activities: The teacher ask the student what are the lesson that they
discussed last meeting and the class answer It’s all about the
volume of sound/music”
2. MOTIVATION OF THE LESSON
The teacher ask the student if they know the song “ Tong-tong
Paki tong-kitong and the students answer “Yes” and the
teacher ask to sing the song “Tong-tong Paki tong-kitong” in
two speed; fast and slow. And let the class perform while
singing fast and slow speed. The class will sing the song fast
and slow
(To understand that performing music maybe fast and slow.)
3. UNFREEZING ACTIVITIES
The teacher will play some music with tempo of Largo and
Presto and have a sing a long with the learners.
4. CHECKING ASSIGNMENT
The teacher will collect the given assignment in the previous
lesson.

B. Developmental :The teacher will introduce now the concept and start her
discussion about the topic “Tempo talk : Largo to Presto”.

2. LESSON PROPER
Presto is the music term for fast and refers to how quickly the
beat is moving in the music and the term for slow is “largo”.
tell the class in music there must be fast and slow.
PRESTO - Fast and refers to how quickly the beat is moving
in the music.
LARGO - the term slow is “LARGO”

The teacher ask the student what is the term of slow tempo
and fast tempo and give an example of the two tempos.

3. ACTIVITY DISCUSSION
DIRECTION :Prepare a piece of paper write L if the music was
slow which is represents as Largo, and P for Presto that
represent a fast music.
(Teacher will play a music that represents the Presto and
Largo)

4. ABSTRACTION
Again class what is LARGO and PRESTO? Give their
functions. ?
Again Presto is the music term for fast and refers to how
quickly the beat is moving in the music. The term for slow is
Largo

C. Closing GROUP ACTIVITY


DIRECTION: I’ll Group you into 3, and each group you’ll
