Activity 3

Computers are typically used to create and/or manipulate technology-based art. For millennia,
visual artists have painted on paper, canvas, fabric, walls, and ceilings with a range of paints, inks, and
natural pigments while also using brushes and palettes. Many centuries ago, art was made inaccessible
to the general public and was only for the few members of high society who had the means to
appreciate history in the making. Today’s computer artists use the constantly expanding capabilities of
image manipulation programs and applications to create works that can be displayed in a variety of
media, whether as a physical output or a virtual experience. Technology has made art incredibly
accessible thanks to the capacity to exchange media formats, mostly through the Internet and other
technological means.

Process Questions:

1. What did you take into consideration before making your artwork? What is pacific app did you
use?

I use the Canva app, and when creating an artwork, I think about the message I want to express, the
colors I will use, the spaces and values, what I will focus on, and the things I will include. The audience
is the first consideration for any artist before creating any work, thus this is where I start.

2. What media technique/s did you use in your artwork? Explain briefly.

I used is elements of art with the pictures/images of Google. When I did the artwork, I took pictures
and images from google, then I copied them and put them in Canva, then I put effects and styles to
make it work.

3. In your opinion, can you create such an artwork when resources are unavailable or with little
knowledge only? Why or why not?

In my opinion, I think I can create an artwork because even if you don’t know knowledges in the topic
of artwork as long as you have expression that you wants to convey, you can create through it. For me,
art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such
as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional
power.
