A. Preliminary Activities

“Good morning everyone!” “Good morning teacher Sunshine!”

“Before we start, let us all stand up and pray.” (The pupils will stand up and pray)
“Let us remain standing for our opening dance.

presentation.”

“Good job, everyone! You can now be seated.” (The pupils will be seated)

"Okay, it is a bird. Very good!


"Who wants to try the next jumbled picture?
What animal do you think it is?
(The teacher will call a pupil to answer) “cat”
"You are right! It is a butterfly.”
"Okay, and lastly we have what kind of
animal?”
(The teacher will call a pupil to answer) “fish”

"You are right! It is a fish.”

“Very good, everyone! You all did a great job!”

C. Presentation

“To start, let us identify different animals and


the sounds that they make."

"Let us identify the sounds, and


characteristics of the following animals.
First, we have a cat. A cat has 4 feet and 1
tail. The sound of a cat is Meow. Let us listen
to the sound of a cat.
“Yes teacher!”
"Did you hear the sound?
"Okay, again the cat goes meow.”
"Next, we have a dog. Just like the cat, a dog
has 4 feet and 1 tail. The sound of a dog is
Woof. Let us hear the sound of a dog.”
"Okay, that is the sound of a dog. Can you try
the sound of a dog?"

“Woof! Woof!”
(The teacher will call a pupil to answer)
"Very good!"

"Next is a cow. Have you seen a cow


already? Okay, the cow has 4 feet and also 1
tail, but it has 2 horns. The sound it makes is
Moo. Let us hear it."
"Who wants to try the sound of a cow?
Anyone?"

(The teacher will call a pupil to answer) “Moo! Moo!”


"Okay, good job!”
"Next, we have a pig. A pig has 4 feet and “oink! Oink!”
also 1 tail. Let us listen to the sound of a pig.”
The sound it makes is oink! oink!”
“Very good! Everyone.
Lastly, let’s hear the sound of the bird. The
bird has 2 feet and 2 wings. The sound it
makes is tweet! Tweet!”
“Who wants to try the sound of the bird?”
(the teacher will call a pupil to answer) “Tweet! Tweet!
“Very good!” tweet! Tweet! is the sound of
the bird
"These are some examples of the animal “Yes teacher!”
sounds their characteristics. Do you
understand it?"

“Now let’s do role playing , I have here a
magic box and I want you to pick one picture
inside and pretend to be like the animal. Let’s
see if your friends can guess the correct
animal. Are you ready?”
