“THE FLICKER”

FADE IN:
1. INT. INVESTIGATOR’S OFFICE = DAY

Begins with peaceful lighting in the office space, the Paranormal Investigator’s phone beeps. He picks up the phone and answers.

CLIENT (O.S)
(nervous, panicky voice)
I started hearing whispers and footsteps when no one else was home.

INVESTIGATOR
That sounds unsettling. Have you noticed any patterns associated with these events?

CLIENT (O.S)
Some nights, it’s quiet, and I can almost convince myself that I’m just imagining things. But there is something. I can feel its presence, even as we
speak!

CUT TO:
2. INT. CLIENT’S HOUSE (HALLWAY AND MASTER BEDROOM) = QUIET NIGHT, LOW LIGHTING

The Investigator walks slowly around the house in the dark searching for signs of paranormal activity with his torch and EMF reader.

INVESTIGATOR
This place makes me feel like prey. I’ve walked by this room many times and these readings are abnormal.

The Investigator enters the room cautiously as he looks around the room then looks back at his EMF reader. The light flickers. He slowly looks up at
the light bulb. It flickers again, stays lit again but surges and finally bursts. His torch turns off simultaneously. The room is now full of darkness with
only the dim light from the moon coming from outside the window through the translucent curtains.

INVESTIGATOR
Let’s see what secrets you’re hiding.

CUT TO:
He pulls out his UV torch searching for fingerprints around the room. After a while, he discovers handprints on the mirror. He sees a shadow pass by
in the corner of his eye outside the window. The Investigator does a quick head turn, he manages to turn on his torch again and point it towards the
window.

INVESTIGATOR
I wonder where you are.

He looks around the room again and finds blood writing on the wall.
ENTITY
(in blood writing)
LEAVE

The Investigator gets startled and looks around the darkened room again with his torch. This time he discovered a lot of blood leaking from the
ceiling. His torch then turns off. A shadow overwhelms him followed by his scream filled with horror.

CUT TO:
3. TITLE TO BLANK SCREEN

The scene ends with “The Flicker” title screen with tagline “Your Terror Awaits”. (Grandfather clock ticking)

CUT TO BLACK SCREEN


(Clock continues ticking - - - dramatic music ending)
