e feel immensely exultant to introduce this book entitled “CIVIL ENGINEERING OBJECTIVE
MCQs” among us. This book has been prepared as per the current PSC syllabus to meet the requirements
of all the diligent students preparing for the PSC exam. This book is introduced with an aim to cater
the needs of students and boost their confidence in exam.
While writing the book, we have constantly kept in mind the latest examination requirements of the
students preparing for PSC. No effort has been spared to enrich the book with objective type questions
of different types.
We would like to extend our words of thanks to Sushila Sah, Gajendra Yadav (Under Secretary/
Revenue), Arbind Yadav (Section Officer), Meghraj Aryal (Section Officer), Vijay Kumar Sah,
Er. Shalini Jha, Er. Udit Thakur, Er. Santosh Ray Tharu, Er. Sunil Jayaswal, CM sir, Bodhi Sarobar,
Er. Suman Bahadur Basnet, Er. Raushan Kumar Sah, Er. Rachana Adhikari who have always
encouraged and motivated me to introduce this book.
We are thankful to the publisher Mr. Laxmi Man Shrestha of G.L. Book House Pvt. Ltd. for bringing
out the book in a short span of time and pricing it moderately in spite of heavy cost of paper and
printing. We are also grateful to Pratap Acharya and Sanyr Prajapati for their untiring effort in neat
typing, setting and proper organization of the contents.
Although every care has been taken to check the mistakes and misprints, yet it is difficult to claim
perfection. Any errors, omissions and suggestions for the improvement of this book, brought to our
notice, will be thankfully acknowledged and incorporated in the next edition.
Wishing the aspirants the very best in the forthcoming Loksewa examination, the authors will feel
amply rewarded if the book serves the purposes for which it is meant.
