Taking care of your computer devices:

Here are some tips to take care of a computer and other devices used along

1. Clean your computer and its parts with a dry cloth only. A wet cloth can allow
water to get inside the computer parts and affect its working. You might get an
electric shock too.

2. Cover your computer when not in use. This will protect it from dust. Too much
dust can affect the working of some parts.

3. Press the keys of the keyboard gently. Do not hit the keys. They can get
damaged and stop working.

4. Always keep the mouse on a mouse pad. Hold the mouse lightly with clean and
dry hands. Click the mouse gently and only when required. Using force while
clicking can damage the mouse.

5. Keep food and drink away from the keyboard and mouse. It can spill over and
damage them.

6. Use appropriate steps to shut down the computer. Switching off the
computer directly can damage the hardware and software of the computer
system.
Being respectful to other computer users:

Some of the ways for being respectful to others in the computer class are:

1. Walk in a queue while going to the computer room in the school.

2. Share your computer equally with your partner.

3. In case you have a problem, report it to your teacher without shouting out.

4. Use polite language while communicating with other users on mail or chat.

Do not use bad language just because the person is not in front of you.
