OBJECTIVES:
A. Content Standards
The learners demonstrate an understanding of
antiderivatives and Riemann integral.
B. Performance Standards:
The learners shall be able to formulate and solve accurately
real-life problems involving areas of plane regions.
C. MELCs:
The learners illustrate the definite integral as the limit of
the Riemann sums and illustrate the Fundamental Theorem of
Calculus.
D. Specific Objectives:
At the end of this module, you are expected to:
 define the definite integral as the limit of Riemann Sums;
 llustrate the definite integral as the limit of Riemann sums
and the fundamental theorem of calculus;
 appreciate the steps in determining the definite integral as
the limit of Riemann sums and the steps in FTOC.
