Arduino Obstacle Avoiding and Voice Control Car

The document describes a student project to create a voice-controlled robot vehicle using an Arduino microcontroller. The vehicle responds to voice commands for movements and uses Bluetooth and an Android app for control. It also aims to implement obstacle detection. The document outlines the components, circuitry, programming, and potential applications of the voice-controlled robot vehicle.

Abstract:

This project creates a voice-controlled car that responds to simple

commands like left, right, forward, back, and stop through a
Bluetooth-connected Android app. The commands are processed by
an Arduino UNO microcontroller in the car. While noise and distance
handling need improvement, image processing is suggested for
detecting obstacles. The current implementation uses ZigBee for
short-range control (up to 100 meters) and long-range modules for
distant communication with the car.
Presenting to you
Voice Control RC Car:
Our project is consist of the Robot Vehicle with the controlling over the
voice command and the android app with the help of the Bluetooth. This
Robot Vehicle also has the feature of the obstacle detection or obstacles
avoidance. This undertaking has numerous elements like, interaction
between microprocessor data distribution microprocessor to the Arduino
Uno and the circuit element. The control is based on the Arduino and the
android application.

The Need of Voice Control RC Car

The voice control was designed for a hoe assistant robot. The order of speech signals is
automatically transmitted via a wired network to the server. The car is built primarily on a
platform based on a microcontroller. Evaluation of the output of the original tests is carried out
with promising implications. Possible developments to feasible technologies in households,
schools, vehicle networks and businesses are also addressed. It’s one of the use in actual cars
we can control cars using this kind of techniques. Drivers can use voice commands to send text
messages without having to take their eyes off the road. Controlling smart home devices:
Drivers can use voice commands to control smart home devices, such as lights, thermostats,
and security systems, from their car.
Assembly of Project

The voice control car we think on it was is at the experiment, so we try to make it smaller
level. Also we can implement the technique on the higher level like wise the actual car. The
cars can be also control by the voice command we are determined by our small project. For
the project we make Robot Vehicle or we can say a small RC(Remote Controlled Car) by
using the various electronics components. The electronics motors or the motion sensors is
connected to the Arduino Uno board circuit. The circuit element of this robot vehicle is
control using the Arduino. And the signals command which is the form of the voice is pass
from the user by means of smartphone with the android application to the brain of the robot
vehicle is to Arduino Uno Circuit board for further processing.

Application:

Voice-controlled cars using Arduino can be a fun and educational project that demonstrates
basic electronics, programming, and potentially machine learning concepts. Here are some
potential:

•Educational tool: Learning about electronics, programming, and potentially machine learning
can be engaging and practical through building a voice-controlled car.

•Accessibility aid: For individuals with limited mobility, a voice-controlled car could be a way to
interact with their environment and have some level of control over their surroundings.

•Entertainment: Voice-controlled cars can be used for entertainment purposes, such as racing
against friends or completing obstacle courses.
Advantages:

Educational: Building a voice-controlled car can be a fun and engaging way to learn
about electronics, programming, and potentially machine learning. It allows you to see
how different components work together and gain practical experience with these
concepts.
Customization: Arduino is a popular platform for hobbyists and makers because it
allows for a lot of customization. You can tailor the voice commands, car movements,
and even add additional features to your voice-controlled car based on your interests
and skills.
Accessibility: For people with limited mobility, a voice-controlled car could be a way to
interact with their environment and have more control over their surroundings. It could
be used for tasks like simple remote control or potentially even as part of a larger
assistive technology system.
