SCRIPT DEBUT

PART I
GREETINGS

EMCEE: Good Evening ladies and gentlemen, May we have your


attention please? We are about to begin 18th birthday celebration of
VALERIE KATE so please find your seats and make yourselves
comfortable and enjoy the rest of the evening.
EMCEE: A very good evening to each and everyone and welcome to a
night of pastel colors in celebration of a wonderful life for a girl who
is now turning into a fine lady. We would like to thank everyone for
gracing this very momentous occasion because as they say, you only
get to be 18 once.
EMCEE: We would like to acknowledge the key persons who took a
great part in making this joyous affair possible. Let us all give a big
round of applause to honor all the people whom she truly loved. Sabi
nga nila, marami tayong mahahanap na Kapuso , pero iisa lang ang
ating kapamilya.
FATHER: Mr. Victor Pertible
MOTHER: Mrs. Lalaine Pertible
BROTHER: Mr. Jestonie Pertible

A big round applause please, Thank You.

INTRO:
We are all gathered here tonight to witness the transformation
of a young girl to a beautiful lady. We are very lucky for we are
chosen to be here and be part of this momentous occasion in the
debutant’s life. You see her grow up, You see her smile, You see her
laugh, You see her everything, And now you are about to see her as a
grown up lady. A lady of good heart , character and ambitions.
An 18th birthday marks almost the steps from youth to young adult,
with all its relative responsibilities. Join us as we celebrate this
wonderful girl’s coming of age. Let us all celebrate as our girl
becomes a full bloomed lady tonight, as our girl turns 18.

ENTRACE OF DEBUTANT

In a land not so far away, there was once a little girl with a
beauty of an angel, Born under the sign of GOD, this girl is the
PRINCESS among the children of Mr. Victor Pertible and Mrs. Lalaine
Pertible.
She grew up with so much love and kindness. She is loved by
everybody for her beauty inside and out. Her voice is an angel. Her
Smile bears no limit. Her heart is unafraid. Her mind is ready to try,
She’s ready for any adventure for the sake of fun and friendship.
More refined than shy, more adventurous than playful , more
charismatic than charming, more than beautiful , Indeed, she has all
grown up and what a sight she has become.

And now .…. guests, friends, ladies and gentlemen, let us all rise
as we welcome the debutant as a woman of grandeur, now hot and
legal escorted by his Boyfriend Mr. Joginsen Miguel Jr., lets give a
warm round of applause to WELCOME, our lovely debutant …. MS.
VALERIE KATE LOPEZ PERTIBLE.

EMCEE: Good Evening ladies and gentlemen. I am Mr. Jevie Consulta


and I will be your host for tonight. And before we start our program,
may I request everyone to please stand and lets hear an opening
prayer to be lead to us by ________________ to be followed by
________________ thank you so much.
And now, at this juncture may I call Mr. Jestonie Pertible for his
welcome address, Let’s give him a big big round of applause ….thank
you so much….

Emcee: and before we start to the next part mayroon po tayong


random interview!
Who is Valerie Kate in a real sense of word? Of course aside
from being kind and responsible daughter, friend or classmate
maybe, there are things that some people know but not known to
others. Lets find out as we randomly ask some quirky, trivial and
even personal questions to some of our important guest here?

Emcee: And now for the most awaited solo performance of our host
for this night by representing by me, nagmula pa sa ibabaw ng
kalangitan at linangoy ang sangkaterbang tubig sa drum….lets give
the floor to Mr. Jevie Consulta…again lets give him a big hand!

Emcee: But before we go on, it is my great honor to give the floor to


debutant Ms. Valerie and to his father Mr. Victor Pertible for the
“Father and Debutant Dance”… lets give him a big big round of
applause! Thank you so much….

Emcee: And now, ladies and gentlemen without further ado, it is my


grate honor to intoduce the participants of 18 Candles, 18 Roses and
18 gift.

May I request to all 18 Candles to be get ready, because the floor is


yours…

Emcee: The 18 candles signifies 18 different women in your life like


friends, relatives and sisters even your mother. When one candle
lights up she will give a speech and after all 18 candles are lit the
debutant will blow them out.
Candles because the ladies are supposedly there to guide you
in your life journey. Let us start with…

Emcee: At this point, for the most awaited intermission number


represented by all friends, lets give a big big round of applause.
That is such a stunning performance, what a wonderful voice…
Thank you so much!

Emcee: May I request to all 18 Roses to be get ready.


18 birthday marks the end of teenage and the beginning of
adulthood. It is a very special day in everyone’s life because on this a
person cherishes the old moments filled with love, care and shelter
but now the person is moving towards adulthood where she will be
loaded with responsibilities and independence of thought and
expression. As the debutant receives her 18 roses let it be a reminder
that like the rose life is beautiful, however there are thorns that
signify that life isn’t that easy for there are problems to be faced. It is
up to her how she will handle these hurdles with support of her
family and friends.
Like a flower that blooms and exudes its sweet scents to attract
bees and butterflies, the debutant will be swarmed later on by 18
equally gentle bachelors, Let us invites them to come in to the grand
ballroom. Let us start with:

Emcee: But before we move in 18 Gift, I would like to thank to the


family of debutant for this opportunity us one of your host for this
night event…. Thank you so much!

Emcee: The 18 gift symbolize things that the debutant needs to
succeed on her toward womanhood.
18 gift symbolize of love and appreciation…before you give the gift to
the debutant, give short message to her, Let us start with:

At ngayon, atin namang dinggin ang mensahe ng ating debuntant
para sa kanyang pasasalamat… bigyan natin siya ng masigabong
palakpak…

Once again, thank you for coming, guest, visitors relatives and friends
“ Turning 18 is so much fun now the fun has just begun, Do what you
feel like and like what you do, happy 18th birthday to you!”
