ISSUED: August 1978
REVISED: January 1979
PRODUCT: Centaur
MODEL(S): Mechanical Drive
Specifics:

SUBJECT: PILOT VALVE PLUNGER KIT

—REVISION NOTICE—
To clarify original instructions and provide a list of required parts.
This revision supersedes Service Bulletin 3.1C/102.

Type of Change: Product Improvement

Recommended
Compliance: Information

Purpose:
To announce availability of, and provide installation instructions for, a kit to repair inoperative pilot
valves.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
A problem has been encountered with Versa pilot valves becoming inoperative. The seat material
expands, blocking off the vent port, and prevents transfer of the main valves.

A new style valve, P/N 910380C3 or 904975C3 employing a plunger with a shorter effective length
has been released to correct this problem. In addition, a spare parts kit is being made available so
the complete valve does not require replacement.
