I. RATIONALE

In the continuous pursuit of excellence in providing quality professional

development among teachers and school heads, an In-service Training is
launched every school year.
In-service training will serve as the venue for teachers to upgrade their
skills and grow professionally which may also serve as their tool in the delivery of
the knowledge gained to their learners.
Through this, teachers may also be refreshed with some of the programs
the department had implemented and will be re-oriented on how to go about it.
Besides, teachers may have the time to evaluate their mid-year
performance.
As ordered by the Department of Education, this school year 2023-2024,
Felipe Cadavedo Integrated School will hold its school-based INSET on January
24-26 and 29-30, 2024.

II. Training Purpose/Objectives:

This year’s School-based INSET aims to:
1. address teachers’ needs to improve their competence.
2. refresh teachers with the strategies to address reading level
of learners.
3. strengthen teachers’ teaching strategies.
4. revisit and re-orient teachers of the DepEd Programs.

III.Training Program Description:

The topics to talk about during the duration of the 5-day in-service
training are interventions to address learning gaps in English, least learned
competency in Music, National learning camp, Mathematics Program, Microsoft
365, Child’s Rights and Protection Policy and D.O. # 44, s. 2021.

VIII. Monitoring and Evaluation

This 5-Day School-based INSET will be monitored and evaluated

through the School’s Quality Assurance Technical Assistance Monitoring and
Evaluation (QATAME) patterned by the Division Monitoring and Evaluation
team.

Completion report with consolidated M&E results in this conduct will

be submitted to the higher authorities through the link given not later than 3
days after the conduct.

Proper documentation log will be kept in the office of the School Head.
