Company conducts a survey ina city to learn about the preferences of its customers. The company divides the state into four zones (referred to as categories here): North, South, East, and West. The zone is then subdivided into subcategories such as male and female. Now we can examine the relationships between the data by using the cross tabulation. With this information, the company can determine which flavour of chips female customers prefer and which flavour of chips male customers prefer. This knowledge can assist the company in launching new flavours of chips based on customer taste and preferences. It can also provide insights into how to improve products for male/female customers. nly us ed when information can be divided ‘As an outcome, by combining two variables - gender and product likability - with cross-tabulation, company can obtain a more detailed overview of data sets in order to identify patterns, trends, or other useful information.)
