Hereby, Police Inspector Celso Mariveles of the Western Police District, respectfully
returns the original Search Warrant No. 2021-0098 issued by this Honorable Court on April 30,
2021, and states the following:
On May 2, 2021, the Search Warrant was executed at the premises of the
respondent at Araneta Center pet shop. (Annex A)
During the search, the following items listed in the warrant were found and confiscated:
a. 27 rare species of parrots
b. 10 Palawan porcupines
c. 8 Mynah birds
d. 6 Albino lizards
e. 10 Black pythons
All confiscated items were accompanied by proper receipts and are now in our custody.
It is respectfully requested that this Honorable Court accepts the return of Search
Warrant No. 2021-0098 and grants us custody of the aforementioned items until the
investigation concludes.

III FACTS/INVESTIGATION/FINDINGS
Between 7:30 and 8:00 o'clock in the evening of September 8, 2015, Henry Saclangan
saw Sato Sanad. conversing with appellant Rizal Espiritu in front of Starlight Bakery
located at Sunflower Street, Navy Base Subdivision, Baguio City. Later, he saw Sato
Sanad and appellant, who placed his arm around the formers shoulder, walk.
At about 9:00 o'clock in that evening, while Jeffrey Bernabe was in his house at
Sunflower St., Navy Base Subdivision, Baguio City conversing with friends, he heard
someone outside shouting for help. When he went out, Jeffrey Bernabe saw a man,
who turned out to be Sato Sanad, wounded and bleeding. Accompanied by his friends
and helpers, Jeffrey Bernabe brought Sato Sanad to the Baguio General Hospital.
At about 9:00 o'clock that same evening, the undersigned of the Pacdal Police
Substation, Baguio City, received a report from the base operator of a fight that
occurred in Sunflower Street. He was ordered to immediately proceed to the place.
Along the way, he met an Isuzu Elf Truck. It was Jeffrey Bernabe and his companions
who told that they were bringing a wounded person to the hospital. The undersigned
told the driver, Jeffrey Bernabe, to proceed to the hospital and to wait for him there as
he would first proceed to the crime scene. Nobody was present at the crime scene. Only
bloodstains on the ground; a bloodied, perforated. maong jacket and false dentures
were only the ones found. At the hospital, Jeffrey Bernabe informed the investigating
team that the victim was already dead.
IV RECOMMENDATION/DISPOSITION
In view of the foregoing, this office hereby recommends to refer this instant case before
the office of the City Prosecutor

NEWS REPORT
Baguio City, September 9, 2015 - A tragic incident unfolded in the quiet streets of Baguio City
last night, resulting in the loss of a man's life. The altercation, which occurred on Sunflower
Street in the Navy Base Subdivision, left residents shocked and authorities scrambling for
answers.
According to eyewitness accounts, the evening of September 8, 2015, began calmly enough,
with residents going about their usual routines. However, tensions escalated when Henry
Saclangan observed a conversation between Sato Sanad and another individual identified as
Rizal Espiritu in front of Starlight Bakery.
Later in the evening, the situation took a violent turn when Jeffrey Bernabe, a resident of
Sunflower Street, heard cries for help echoing through the neighborhood. Rushing outside,
Bernabe discovered Sanad, bleeding profusely from apparent wounds sustained in the
altercation. With the help of his friends and neighbors, Bernabe swiftly transported Sanad to
Baguio General Hospital.
Meanwhile, authorities at the Pacdal Police Substation received reports of a fight on Sunflower
Street. Upon investigation, they found bloodstains, a bloodied jacket, and false dentures at the
scene. However, there were no signs of any individuals involved in the altercation.
Tragically, despite efforts to save him, Sanad succumbed to his injuries upon arrival at the
hospital. The news of his death has left the community reeling, with many demanding answers
and justice for the senseless loss of life.
Police Officer Johnson Ayagen of the Pacdal Police Station has recommended the case be
referred to the office of the City Prosecutor for further investigation and possible prosecution. As
authorities continue their inquiries, residents remain on edge, hoping for swift resolution and
peace to return to their neighborhood.

necessary security and support to the SOCO Team during the whole process
until after the crime scene is released.

Taguig City, November 8, 2019 - A stabbing incident has shocked residents and authorities in
Taguig City, as a violent altercation unfolded at the Taguig City University campus, leaving one
person injured and a suspect at large.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the front basement area of the university's
Academic Building, with secondary occurrences reported in front of Upper Bicutan National High
School. Patrolwoman Gecelry Gatus, the first responder at the scene, received a report of the
stabbing at approximately 12:58 PM and promptly arrived at 1:03 PM to assess the situation.
Witnesses identified the victim as Marlito Alones, who was found wounded and bleeding near
the crime scene. Alones was rushed to Baguio General Hospital for medical treatment.
Authorities have confirmed that the suspect, who remains unidentified, is currently at large. The
weapon used in the attack was identified as a knife.
The Taguig City Police Station has requested the assistance of the Scene of the Crime
Operatives (SOCO) team to process the crime scene and gather evidence. Police Master
Sergeant Vince Gerald Sumono, the Duty Investigator, ensured the proper documentation and
preservation of the crime scene until the SOCO team's arrival.
In an effort to gather more information, Patrolwoman Gecelry Gatus interviewed Ma. Clarice
Voluntad, who resides near the crime scene. No additional individuals were reported to have
entered the crime scene before the arrival of investigators.
As investigations continue, authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident to
come forward and assist in apprehending the suspect. The Taguig City Police Station reassures
the community of their commitment to ensuring safety and justice for all residents.
