RESOLUTION 01
SERIES OF 2024

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2024 SANGGUINANG KABATAAN(SK) ANNUAL BUDGET OF


BARANGAY SARANAY, CABATUAN, ISABELA

WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 20 (a) of the Reform Act of 2015 R.A. No. 10742, ten percent
10% of the general fund of the barangay shall be set aside for the SK. The sangguniang Barangay shall
appropriate the SK funds in lum-sum, which shall be disbursed solely for the youth development and
empowerment purposes.

WHEREAS, section (b) of the same law provides that the SK shall have the financial independence in
its operations, disbursements, and encashment of their fund, income and expenses.

WHEREAS, The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Saranay, deliberated on the proposed


Sangguniang Kabataan Annual Budget amounting to SIX HUNDRED THIRTY ONE THOUSAND THREE
HUNDRED SEVENTY SIX AND SIXTY CENTAVOS(631376.60) in accordance with DBM, DILG, NYC Joint
Memorandum 1 series of 2019.

NOW THEREFORE, on unanimous accord be it resolved as it is hereby resolved, to approve the 2024
Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Annual Budget as submitted;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be forwarded to the Sangguinang Bayan for their
appropriate action.

RESOLUTION NO. 2
SERIES OF 2021

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2024 ANNUAL YOUTH BARANGAY INVESTMENT PROGRAM(ABYIP) OF


BARANGAY SARANAY.

WHEREAS, Article 2 section of the 1987 Philippine Constitution states that “ the state
recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation-building and shall promote and protect their physical,
moral, spiritual, intellectual, and social; well-being it shall inculcate in the youth, patriotism and
nationalism and encourage their involvement in public and civil affairs”.

WHEREAS, Implementing Rules and Regulation of Republic act 10742 also known as the
Sangguinang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 in Chapter II Section 8 paragraph (a) states the “In
consultation and with the concurrence of the katipunan ng Kabataan, within three (3) months from
the assumption of office, formulate a three (3) year rolling plan, which shall served as basis in
preparation of Annual Youth Barangay Investment Plan;

WHEREAS, The Sangguinang Kabataan, with the concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan
of Barangay Saranay drafted and approved a Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan for
the year 2024

WHEREAS, The Sangguinang Kabataan of Barangay Saranay, has prepared the 2024 Annual
Barangay Youth Investment Plan in accordance with the approved Comprehensive Barangay Youth
Investment Plan;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to approved the 2024 Annual


Barangay Youth Investment Plan;

Adopted this 5th day of January 2024 at Barangay Saranay, Cabatuan, Isabela
