General Guidelines
1 Design plans and BoQ are complementary to each other, hence the contractor has the obligation to execute the tasks mentioned in either one of them, accordingly The contractor's shall include all what is mentioned in the drawings & all what is mentioned in the BOQs. Incase BOQ and technical drawings have
discrepancies. BOQ supersedes technical drawings. Follow IOM site engineers site instruction at all times.

2 All the BoQ articles comprise supplying manpower, machinery, equipment, transportation all necessary requirements to get the work done properly regardless of it's mentioned in the BoQ articles or not.

3 In case that there is any item or detail in the drawings not mentioned in the BOQ (or vise versa) then this item or detail is considered included in the contractor's price for this project & he should execute it within his contract price without claiming any increase to the contract price, as it is considered part of the
contract.

4 All the BoQ articles must be carried out according to guidelines of Iraqi Technical Specifications with updates and instructions of IOM site engineers
5 All the BoQ articles comprise removing and transporting any debris or rubble to allocated disposal areas by municipality or local authority.
6 Follow IOM site engineers instruction at all times.
7 Submit work plan schedule for project activities.
8 Site visit is mandatory, offer without site visit attendace will not be taken in consideration.

Technical Specifications:
1 The price includes all required materials, fittings , accessories , tools , machines , instruments, labor works with all the requirements, installation , testing and commissioning and put in operation to get the system work properly as per international specifications , beneficiary and IOM engineer instructions and to
complete the works as stated in the contract items , design drawings , details and complete the work in all aspects.

2 All materials should be a good quality and the Brand and origin should be subject to the Engineer's approval . Cost include transportation and installation.
3 Any damaged parts in any system or structure due to the work in the site , will be responsibility of contractor to redo poor workmanship without cost to IOM .
4 Contractor / vendor is responsible to delivered all the works to IOM Engineers.
5 Cleaning the site from any debris after complete all the work.
6 All the below items and works should be warranty one year after final handover of work to local authorities , beneficiaries and IOM .
7 The Electrical Works include wiring , Circuit breakers , connection , conduit , cables tray , fittings , accessories and all related work , (even if it not mentioned below ), to complete and get the system working properly.

8 All the Electrical works shall be in accordance with Iraqi and international Electrical Installation Code and guidance of the supervising engineer. Inspection and final receiving of work shall be accordingly.

9 The Contractor shall equip all materials, workers and equipment necessary for the performance of the work specified in the Bill of Quantities in all its aspects.
10 All materials and accessories to be used are new and of origin and brands known, and the contractor to prepare samples for approval before the start of work and use.
11 All non-galvanized iron parts should be cleaned and then coated and painted with double layers of anti-rust painting and three layers of oil paint. The color should be As Per site engineer Instructions.

1 Site Preparation & Demolishing Work

4 Sanitary Fixture work

4.1 Ceramic WC: Supply material and tools to install easteren ceramic W.C ( the deep type from approved
quality ) . , gully PVC type size 4 inches , the price include all required accessories and works to install
the new WC properly according to the specifications and insruction of IOM site Engineer No. 2

4.2 Flush Tank: Supply material, install and connect, flush tank with mounted hose, high pressure
connection steel hose, chromium plated stop valve, connected to wall with brackets with all required No. 2

4.3 Supply materials, tools and manpower to install new white western toilet best quality with complete
accessories (water syphon, galvanized pipes from gully PVC type size 4 inches , and water tubes…etc.)
