EXPERIENCE

POLANGUI GENERAL COMPREHENSIVE

HIGH SCHOOL
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to embark on my field study

experience. This experience has allowed me to apply my theoretical knowledge in a real-

world setting and has given me the opportunity to work alongside professionals in my

field. The experience has been enriching and has helped me develop a deeper

understanding of physical education and its importance in promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Throughout my field study experience.

Through these experiences, I have witnessed firsthand how physical

education can positively impact the lives of individuals. I have seen students improve

their physical abilities, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and gain confidence in

their abilities. One of the most valuable lessons I learned during my field study

experience is the importance of effective planning and preparation.

I have learned the significance of proper communication and collaboration

with other educators, school staff, and students in ensuring the smooth and efficient

delivery of physical education programs. Overall, my field study experience has been a

transformative journey that has helped me grow both personally and professionally. The

experience has taught me the value of hard work, dedication, and collaboration. It has

also enabled me to develop essential skills that will help me become a successful

physical education teacher in the future. I express my heartfelt gratitude to my mentors,

colleagues, and everyone who made my field study experience possible.

INTRODUCTION

Field study is a crucial part of any academic journey, especially for those

in the field of education. It provides students with opportunities to apply theoretical

knowledge in real-life settings, giving them a taste of what it's like to work in the field

they're studying. Beyond that, field study also allows students to gain new perspectives

on various issues and challenges relevant to their course. My name is Mary Heart R.

Baldemoro, a 21-year-old student currently taking up Bachelor in Physical Education. For

me, pursuing this field means promoting the importance of physical fitness and fostering

lifelong habits of staying active and healthy.

Throughout my academic journey, I have come to realize that understanding

the different aspects of physical education involves more than just working out and

staying fit. It includes understanding anatomy, human movement, and various strategies

in teaching physical education. It also brings together societal and cultural aspects that

affect one's physical health and well-being.

Field study provides me an opportunity to apply and further develop my

physical education knowledge and skills. This experience will help me become a more

effective physical education teacher and equip me with insights that will allow me to

inspire young individuals to achieve their full physical and mental potential. As I pursue

my Bachelor in Physical Education,

I am excited to gain practical experience, learn new perspectives, and work with

professionals that share the same passion as I have.

BELIEFS IN TEACING AND LEARNING

(PRE)

I believe that effective teaching and learning should prioritize the individual

needs and abilities of each student, as every child learns differently and at their own

pace. By creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, teachers can foster a

love for learning and help students develop a strong foundation of knowledge and skills

that will serve them well throughout their academic and personal journeys. Additionally,

ongoing professional development and collaboration among educators can ensure that

teaching practices are continually evolving and improving to meet the changing needs of

students in the 21st century.

BELIEFS IN TEACING AND LEARNING

(POST)

To me, being a teacher means embodying a variety of roles, including mentor,

facilitator, and guide. I strive to create an environment that fosters respect, empathy, and

openness, allowing students to feel valued and empowered. This includes taking the time

to get to know each student as an individual, understanding their strengths, challenges,

and interests, and tailoring my teaching methods to meet their specific needs.

Teaching aims to support learners' growth by providing necessary knowledge,

skills, and attitudes for success in academic and personal pursuits. Teachers should

create a conducive learning environment, foster critical thinking, and promote a love for

learning. They should understand students' unique needs and tailor their teaching

approach.
