STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

INTRODUCTION:

I am Tarun Shakya from Delhi, India, a student with lot research scholastic
attitude and enthusiastic in any field whatever chooses proven from academic
career so far now wishing to pursue Msc Computer Science. My career
objective is to achieve excellence in this field.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:

I have completed my Bachelor of Computer Application from Institute of


Management Studies, Noida Affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University
in the year of 2024 and the Intermediate & High school through Central Board
of Secondary Education With 75% and 60% respectively. I was driven with the
zeal to excel in the sphere as academics, also with an inclusion towards
enriching my communication skills. I have studied in a school where I have
tuned to a practical attitude with guidance of teachers. My attitude towards
learning has developed from class to class and upgraded with my
curriculum along with recent trends. As result goes, when I was in
school, interests moved onto much practical aspects of different subjects but my
theoretical knowledge was enough to sort out the things at that time. I strongly
believe that graduate study comprising high quality research in these fields is of
essential importance to enhance my knowledge to make me a better exponent in
these fields.

REASONS TO STUDY IN YOUR UNIVERSITY:

University of East London is a high-quality educational institution with a strong


commitment to facilitating students learning process, enabling them to be what
they want to be. About half of the students are international, creating a unique
global dynamic in classroom learning.
I feel that getting education in a country other than one’s own is essential to
make a student adaptable to different working conditions. Living in
an environment with people having similar goals and aspirations is a great
experience in ones academic life and is of considerable importance to spur ones
professional career. I feel that graduate study at your esteemed university is the
best type of further education at this juncture because of the flexibility
incorporated in the learning system, its infrastructure and its intense interaction
with the industry and exposure to the latest technology. An extremely
distinguished faculty, who replete with academic and excellent facilities for
research in my field of interest are the most important factors, which motivated
me to choose your university for my graduate study. Further, the vistas of
opportunities in an internally acclaimed university such as yours are
tremendous. Thus, I shall be elated if an opportunity is given to me to pursue
my further education in your esteemed university, as my most important years
of learning stretch right ahead.

WHY UNITED KINGDOM:

UK is known globally as being one of the world’s most diverse and welcoming
countries and it is something for which we take great pride. It enjoys an
international reputation for excellence in many disciplines. Students who study
in UK can take an advantage the country’s impressive technology and research
resources. UK seemed to be more lucrative, with well culture diversities and
numerous study options. UK will provide me with unparallel international
experience which is a very valuable asset therefore counting my studies in UK
seems to be the logical choice.

PROGRAM BENEFITS AND CAREER PLANS:

I would like to work with a company where my skills will be needed and which
provides a good environment. I would like to work in the field of Software
Developing world. I believe that your university will certainly prepare me for
the current industry. I would like to learn new skills and push forward my career
as better as I can. Moreover I think that studying in your esteemed university
will open new unknown paths and help me plan my career in better way.

INTEND TO RETURN BACK INDIA:

I would like to return my home country and work in a good company and I look
forward to see myself in one of the leading most multinational companies in my
early days and expect to achieve new heights in a very quick succession. I
would live permanently in India along with my parents I might visit some other
countries for tourism or if I have some good job opportunities Overseas before
coming to India if any opportunity presents itself I will surely take it to do an
internship in UK.
