Topic: What should we do to protect the environment

The environment is an essential part of our life. However, it is being damaged by us day by day. So we
have to start protecting the environment now. Here are just a few of the things we can do. Firstly, we
can avoid using plastic bag because it’s hard to recycle. Moreover, it is difficult to destroy because it
takes hundreds of years to decompose if we bury it. When we burn it, it will emit CO2 gas to pollute the
environment. Instead, we can bring a reusable shopping bag with us when we go out or reuse one
plastic bag until it wears out. Secondly, we need to conserve the old forest, rainforests, national parks,
and plant more trees to make a place to live for wild animals. Trees will contribute to convert CO2 in the
air into O2 gas and will prevent flood. In addition, it’s good if we can bike or use public transportation
more and drive less. This will reduce air pollution from vehicle emissions as well as saving depleted
natural resources such as gasoline and oil. A clean environment is necessary for a peaceful and healthy
life that's why we have to protect our environment.

Topic: Pros and cons of procrastination

When it comes to procrastination, people will often think negatively about it, but besides the
disadvantages, it also has several advantages. In terms of advantages, firstly, procrastination gives us
more time to prepare and think more carefully about important decisions. Secondly, it stimulates the
brain to be more creative and helps to improve the quality of work. Specifically, procrastination
encourages people to think differently. This creates the opportunity to generate great ideas. But it has
certain drawbacks too. Firstly, procrastination is one of the causes of passivity and indecision in us.
Because we keep thinking there's plenty of time left to make ourselves lazy and passive. Seconndly, it
makes us feel stressed by rushing through deadlines and this also affects our health. Last but not least,
procrastination deprives us of opportunities in life. For example, if you procrastinate on studying causing
you to have a bunch of knowledge before the exam and that leads to your results not being good. In
short, procrastination has 2 sides and hope that we can promote the advantages to overcome its
drawbacks.

Topic: Write about an experience that didn’t turn out as you had expected.
Actually, in my life, I have made many different purchases that give me both sense of satisfaction and
discontent. However, if I have to pick out one item that really let me down, I will name the dress that I
bought the previous week. I accidentally saw it while I was surfing the web. I was attracted to it for the
first time because it suited my fashion sense. I texted to ask the salesman what size fit me. Without
hesitation, I ordered it with the size that the seller had advised. About 3 days later, I received it in an
excited mood. However, it didn't fit me even though the salesman had advised me to that size. More than
that, it was not like the advertised image. It was nothing more than a torn piece of chestnut. I felt very
bad because the quality was not worth the money I spent. I immediately contacted the store but they
blocked me. Since that time, I tend to be more careful to make purchasing decisions.

Topic: Communicate with friends.

Keeping in touch with friends is an integral part of my daily life. When we were not too busy, we
used to gossip throughout the night, stroll in the city, take pictures and hang out together every day.
But when we were too busy with studying and working that we couldn’t text each other regularly.
We only go out once a week. My friends and I talked together about the place we should go on
weekends and we usually ended up at a nearby coffee shop, where we could sit and gossip about
everything that happened to us the whole week. That puts me at ease a lot after a stressful week at
work and study.
Topic: The most living-city
Da Nang is known as the most livable city in Vietnam. And I agree with that. Firstly, it is one of the
modern cities with a developed economy. Therefore, this deserves a place to study and work.
Secondly, the people here are very honest and spontaneous. They are ready to help you when you
need without reciprocation. Thirdly, it is recognized as the cleanest city in Vietnam. When we come
here, we will feel the fresh air, clean green space with green onions along the road. In addition,
specialties and landscapes here are a feature worth experiencing. Hence, Da Nang is voted to be one
of the most worth-living cities in Vietnam.
Topic: Fantastic place to live
When it comes to the country that I want to live in the most, I will answer Norway. Firstly, there are
many beautiful sceneries that I want to enjoy such as the Flam Valley – a land of incredible peace
and majesty. Secondly, the government of Norway has always aimed to make life better for its
people. Therefore, they have many excellent welfare policies such as extremely generous
allowances and vacation policies. Thirdly, the people here are very liberal, friendly and helpful to
foreigners. Last but not least, education is put on top of here. The government will pay all tuition fees
for the children here, it costs a small fee for overseas students. Norway offers an extremely dynamic
learning environment and allows students to unleash their creativity with their inherent abilities. In
conclusion, Norway is a fantastic place to live for me.
Topic: A famous tourist desination in your country
Hoi An ancient town is considered to be one of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam.
There are three main reasons why it attracts a huge number of tourists every year. Firstly, Hoi An
is considered as a living museum of architecture and urban lifestyle. Most of the old buildings
here are the combination of different architectures from different cultures such as Chinese,
Japanese, Frence, and of course Vietnamese style. Secondly, Hoi An people are hospitable and
friendly. Wherever you go, visitors can easily see their friendly eyes and bright smiles. Coming
here, visitors cannot ignore special dishes such as Cao Lau, Quang noodles, deep-fried pancakes.
Moreover, travellers have the chance to know more about the unique local culture by listening to
traditional music or watching water puppet shows. Especially, it is at nighttime that the town
comes alive. The little town is lit up with colourful lanterns hung along the streets, which allows
visitors to immerse themselves in a warm and romantic atmosphere that can hardly be found in
anywhere else in the world. In brief, this ancient town has a unique beauty, making it one of the
top destinations in Vietnam.
Topic: Factors making you cool.
When it comes to cool, I just think it's the factors in me that people admire. Firstly, I have a fit body
and an admirable height. This helps me stand out from the crowd. Secondly, academic performance
is also quite good. When I was always at the top of my class when I was in high school and got a
scholarship to college. In addition, I am now an associate dean at a faculty media club. Last but not
least, an indispensable thing is a confident demeanor. I can confidently present my opinion in
public and this is something that people around me think I'm cool. In short, everyone has different
factors that make us cool, so just be yourself and stop comparing yourself to someone else.
Topic: Annoys from neighborhood.
I was annoyed by the trouble that my neighbours brought. First of all, they were always intentionally
littered in front of my house. It drove me crazy because I had to remind them so many times.
Besides, they also ruined the quiet atmosphere of my neighbourhood by singing karaoke any time
day or night. This not only affected the sleep of residents here but also affected the concentration of
the surrounding schools. And it was impolite for the children of that house to kick a ball into passers-
by. It was too bad, there was nothing I could do to make them more self-conscious and not annoy me
and the residents in here.
Topic: What are some benefits and problems of tourism in developing countries?

Nowadays tourism generates a significant portion of national income for many developing
countries, but it has certain drawbacks too. In terms of advantages, firstly, it brings a huge profit to
the economy of the developing countries. The fact that thousands of people come to travel helps that
country has a stable income every year. Secondly, it is also a way to propagate and promote local
culture so that the world knows that country better. Thereby creating many new jobs, contributing to
improving the lives of local people. However, everything has two sides of it. Tourism will have
many consequences. Firstly, there is pollution problem. Many cities and towns become overcrowded
with tourists, with all their vehicles causing traffic jams as well as air and noise pollution. Another
bad effect of tourism is the destruction of wildlife in some places. The habitats of plants and wildlife
are lost due to the construction of tourist areas and tourist activities. But we cannot deny that it
brings more advantages than drawbacks, so I hope that we can overcome unworthy drawbacks.
Topic: Movie
“Train to Busan” is a movie that is no longer strange to us Asians when it created a fever in 2016. It
belongs to the action-horror genre directed by Yeon Sang-ho. The film not only attracted me because
the plot has plenty of twists but also the meticulousness of visual to sound effects. It is a movie with
the participation of many famous actors such as Gong Yoo, Ma Dong-Seak. It is set in Korea, when
this country suffers from a zombie epidemic. The story revolves around a single father, his daughter
and many other passengers trapped on a train full of zombies from Seoul to Busan. They had to go
through many hardships and fight with zombies and humans to reach the last safe city. I was moving
by the scene where the father threw himself on the rails to avoid infecting his daughter. The film has
integrated noble human values through true details. At the most difficult and dangerous, most people
selfishly think for themselves, but there is still humanity between friends, love, family somewhere.
For that reason, the movie achieved a lot of success such as reaching the highest box office revenue
of the year in Asia, the film attended the Cannes Film Festival.
