INTRODUCTION
Paying school fees is important because it contributes to the funding of educational
resources needed by the students. But some parents are suspecting their child when they ask for
money many times, saying there are school fees they needed to pay. To observe and to confirm
whether there are some scheduled school fees. The researchers create a system that will notify
the parents when there are things that the student really needs to pay. It is easy to use and parents
surely will be notify because it will be send through Email notification. Using the advancement
of technology, the researchers come up with the idea of making a system that the parents can
monitor whether the student is saying the truth about school fees.
Once the sender sends the notification through the system to inform the parents that there
is things needed to pay, they can give money to their child to send the payment . This research
explores the significance of such a system in enhancing parent-school collaboration, reducing
administrative burdens, and fostering a proactive approach to financial responsibilities. As
educational landscapes evolve, the implementation of targeted notification systems becomes
crucial in promoting financial awareness and ensuring a smoother educational experience for
both students and their families.

Overall, This research aims to explore the implementation and impact of a system that
delivers timely school fee notifications via Email, offering parents a convenient and immediate

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE
Effective communication between educational institutions and parents plays a crucial
role in student success (Epstein, 2019). The use of technology , particularly email notification
systems, has become an integral part of fostering transparent and timely communication
regarding various aspects of a student’s academic journey. Research consistently indicates a
positive correlation between parental involvement and academic achievement (Henderson &
Mapp, 2018). A School Fees Email Notification System can enhance parental engagement by
providing real-time updates, encouraging active participation in their child’s education. The
educational landscape has witnessed a significant shift towards digital communication platforms
(Kimmons & Veletsianos, 2018). Implementing an email notification systems align with these
trends, offering a convenient and accessible means for parents to stay informed about school
fees, deadlines , and important updates. Traditional fee management systems often face
challenges such as delays, errors, and lack of transparency (Anderson, 2018). An automated
email notification system can streamline fee management processes, reducing errors, and
enhancing overall efficiency. Transparent communication about school fees positively influences
parental satisfication (Smith et al., 2019). Parents who are well-informed and engaged in the
financial aspects of their child’s education are more likely to feel satisfied with the overall
educational experience.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
General Objectives:
To develop an efficient and user-friendly School Fees Notification System for Parents of SP-
ICT Grade 10 students at Tagumpay Nagaño High School. A notification system that send timely
and relevant updates to parents.
Specific Objectives:
1. To enhance communication between parents and the school regarding school fees.
2. To ensure that the parents will get notified everytime there's something that they need to pay.
3. To know how the system can handle multiple payments and notifications.
4. To know the effect of the system to the students, parents, and teachers.
5. To ensure that the payments will be paid correctly.
6. To enhance a hassle free time and schedule for the parents and teachers.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
To implement a digital notification system to assess the payment challenges faced by

parents regarding school fees of Grade 10 Students at Tagumpay Nagaño High School.

This study focuses on the development and implementation of a comprehensive
notification system for parents of SP-ICT Grade 10 students at Tagumpay Nagaño High School.
The primary objective is to establish an accessible and user-friendly platform utilizing email
notifications as the primary mode of communication. This system aims to bridge the
communication gap between the school and parents, facilitating seamless updates and
information dissemination regarding various aspects of their child's fees/payment. Special
attention will be given to accommodating parents with diverse levels of technological
proficiency to ensure inclusivity and ease of use for all demographics within the parent
community.
Optimization of the notification system specifically for facilitating payment transactions
within the platform. This includes integrating payment functionalities to enhance user experience
and improve efficiency in financial transactions between parents and the school. While the study
aims to enhance communication channels, other features, will be integrated into the platform.
concentrate on refining communication channels to foster greater parental engagement and
support within the educational ecosystem of Tagumpay Nagaño High School.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
This research aims to empower parents with timely and accurate information about their
children's educational expenses. The system can streamline the payment process, reduce
potential misunderstandings, and ensure parents stay informed about financial obligations
promptly. This not only promotes financial planning but also reduces stress for parents, allowing
them to focus more on supporting their child academically and emotionally. The study
contributes to the overall improvement of the educational experience by fostering a collaborative
and informed relationship between parents, students, and the school.
The beneficiaries of this study are the following:
 Parents: The system will help parents by informing and notifying them about the school
fees of their child. It will be hassle free for them because they won't be going to school
anymore to pay for the school fees. The parents will not overthink anymore if their child
is telling them if there's something that they need to pay because of the system.
 School & Teachers: It will reduce misunderstanding with the parents because the system
will send accurate information. The teachers and officers won't need to set a meeting for

them to tell the parents that there's something that they need to pay, because the system
will notify the parents thoroughly.
 Students: It will reduce what the students are thinking and they will not need to inform
their parents from time to time.
 Future researchers: The school fees notification system can serve as a valuable resource
for future researchers in the field of education. Specifically, the educational expenses
allowing them to review our study's impact and effectiveness over time. The future
researchers can expand their understanding about what do they need to improve in their
future studies.

Academic Journey- A comprehensive plan that outlines the realistic milestones you need to

Academic calendar - is a schedule of all of the events that occur in an academic year.
Billing Statements: Documents or statements provided to parents detailing the specific fees
owed, payment due dates, and any outstanding balances.
Demographics- statistics that describe populations and their characteristics.
Educational experience- Any experiential learning activity whereby students of Educational

Institution participate in any type of experiential learning at Training Facility.
Educational institutions- A place where people of different ages gain an education, including
preschools, childcare, primary-elementary schools, secondary-high schools, and universities.
Educational expenses- Means charges assessed by the student's institution for instructional and
general fees.
Email notification- An email a business sends to inform subscribers about updates or changes to
a service or website.
Educational Landscape- A contextual and purposeful collection of teaching styles, attitudes, and
principals that reflect a specific time and environment.
Ethical practice - is the application of ethical values to organisational behaviour.

one or more recipients via the internet. Emails are a fast, inexpensive and accessible way to
communicate for business or personal use.

Financial obligation -A legal or moral duty to pay or provide something.
Financial Status - is the condition (financial or otherwise), business, assets, properties or

operations of the person.
Financial planning - is an ongoing process that looks at your entire financial situation in order to
create strategies for achieving your short- and long-term goals.
Financial awareness- The ability to understand and apply different financial skills effectively,
including personal financial management, budgeting, and saving.
Guardians - Individuals, such as legal guardians or foster parents, who are responsible for the
care and protection of children and who make decisions on their behalf.
Implementation - is an ongoing process of identifying and putting into practice the strategies
needed to realize those goals both at the individual, team, school, and district levels.
Information technology (IT) -Information technology is a broad professional category covering

functions including building communications networks, safeguarding data and information, and
troubleshooting computer problems.

Informed consent - is a process in which patients are given important information, including
possible risks and benefits, about a medical procedure or treatment, genetic testing, or a clinical
trial.
Optimization- An act, process, or methodology of making something as fully perfect, functional,

or effective as possible.
Payment Reminders: Notifications or alerts sent to parents to remind them of upcoming or

overdue school fee payments.
Parental Consent- Formal authorization or agreement required from parents before implementing
any changes to fee structures, payment policies, or financial assistance programs.
Parental engagement- Parents and school staff working together to support and improve the
learning, development, and health of children and adolescents.
Payment Challenges- Difficulty in making payments and receiving funds, including payment
method issues, delays, and incorrect amounts.
Requirements -The specific technical and functional specifications of a system that must be met
in order for it to function properly.
Streamline- make it simpler or more efficient. a system that streamlines the process.
Structured-A well-organized, methodical, or systematic approach to a task.
Statistical - Statistics is the study of the collection, analysis, interpretation, presentation, and
organization of data. In other words, it is a mathematical discipline to collect and summarize
data.

User-friendly- Easily understandable and easy to use.
Web based system- To describe applications that run in a web browser. It can also be used to
